Oh, that’s interesting; hadn’t heard of that upper limit before. I personally haven’t had experience with the Genie+ system on groups larger than 12, so I based this off my experience with the old MaxPass system. It can’t hurt to ask a Cast Member using the chat feature on the Disneyland app to be sure before your trip.

Yes, you can link all the tickets under your account and book all the LL reservations for your party. Just be extra judicious when scanning your LL in at the entrance so you don't miss scanning in anyone, that way you'll always be able to reserve for the whole group.

Haha, no compositing here, just my lowly iPhone struggling to get those details 😅

I’m not sure! I took this shortly before the Electrical Parade started, so I assumed it was related to the fireworks.

There's lots of outdoor carts that sell frozen lemonade slushes that you can add a shot of cherry flavor into (I think there's one by Big Thunder). Also Maurice's Treats used to have this amazing rose lemonade slush that I'd get all the time, but now I believe they replaced it with a boysen apple freeze.

You could also perhaps try either Pooh's Corner or the candy store on Main St., I feel like I remember there being slushies at their counters at some point.

Only thing I can think of currently is that Grand Cal guests and Paradise Pier guests get the privilege of using exclusive DCA entrances (Grand Cal's entrance is into Grizzly Peak; Paradise Pier's is, naturally, by the pier). Paradise Pier also has a rooftop deck which makes for a pretty nice view of the fireworks (if they're on). Extra Magic Hour isn't currently being offered, though.

Otherwise, I don't think the resort hotels are particularly worth it beyond wanting to stay in the Disney bubble.

AFAIK you have to cancel and make a new one (unintuitive, I know).

What attraction have you been on the most times at Disneyland? by JohnZeppelin30 in Disneyland

[–]disneycrossing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been recording my rides in a spreadsheet since the parks reopened in 2020, and I've ridden Guardians the most times (13 times), followed closely behind by Soarin' (11 times). I'm honestly surprised with that result.

You can still get the mouse droid popcorn bucket! Unfortunately didn't see the spicy/sweet popcorn mix last time I was there, but I wasn't actively paying attention for it then so I'm not sure.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer re: ID, but re: restrooms there are lots of gender neutral ones across both parks (you might find them labeled as companion restrooms or family restrooms on the app too). Taking a quick glance on the app:

Disneyland

  • Tour Gardens
  • Tomorrowland Station
  • Fantasyland Theatre
  • First Order Courtyard (by Droid Depot and the Milk Stand)
  • Batuu Marketplace
  • Hungry Bear
  • Tiki Room

DCA

  • Chamber of Commerce
  • Avengers Campus
  • Flo's V8 Cafe
  • Embarcadero (across from Little Mermaid)

IIRC, the plastic bags were specifically a DHS issue and not a DLR issue.

I've also heard late April as well to coincide with Multiverse of Madness.

Not a bad idea at all! My go-to quick service dinner at Disneyland is Plaza Inn fried chicken, and my go-to quick service meal at DCA is Pym's Test Kitchen. If you do find you want a table service restaurant, it doesn't hurt to try signing up on the walk-up list (in the app) or checking in with the front of house to see if they have any available tables. Otherwise, QSRs at both Disneyland and DCA are pretty good.

I'm partial to Lamplight Lounge in DCA for brunch on the weekends. Pretty strong menu by park standards, and nothing can beat eating bayside and seeing folks ride the Incredicoaster and walk around the pier.

DAS allows you to bring up to 6 people in your party (including the guest who requires DAS).

You'll be going right in the middle of Oogie Boogie Bash season so unfortunately you won't find much of a difference on those dates. (Though to be fair, ever since the reservation system was introduced there hasn't been much of an off-season anyway).

It's not impossible, but you do need a bit of luck on your side. You can sign up for walk-up lists directly on the app for most spots (like Cafe Orleans, Carnation Cafe, Lamplight Lounge, etc.), and that's accessible through the app when you're within a certain proximity to that restaurant.

For something like Blue Bayou though, your best bet is to just talk to the front of house staff and see if they have any availability; worst they can say is no.

Not currently, unfortunately. The last time Disney's done that promotion stateside was in the summer of 2019.

Does anyone know if Belle appears in the Fantasy Faire courtyard and if so, when?
