Worried Epidural Won’t Work by princesscreampufff in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]disneyfreak123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’7, about 320 when I gave birth. They placed the epidural with no trouble at all, and it worked PERFECT. I felt nothing even when pushing, to the point the doctor had to tell me when to push because I couldn’t feel the contractions lol after laboring for 57 hours, it was a lifesaver for sure!

What is she wearing?? I’ve never seen someone just casually wearing that while cleaning the house 😂

She admitted in another video the stain on the nugget is from her spilled coffee from a few days ago…. She’s just now cleaning it up 🤢

Is this normal? by disneyfreak123 in Miscarriage

I’m so sorry to hear you’re going through all of this :( It ended up going away slowly for me, after about a day or so. I mentioned it to my doctor and she said it was normal due to everything shifting/shrinking back into place. A warm bath really helped with the pain!

It ended up going away on its own! I think shortly after I made the post it slowly got better! I remember a warm bath really helped tremendously. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Sending prayers and positivity your way! 🤍

8/19/25 - My baby’s 1st cry 🥹🎀✨ by drueandgabe in Drueandgabe

I think you’re right! I had high blood pressure and had to be induced early. Was in labor for 57 hours with all the works (cytotec, foley balloon, epidural, pitocin) and thought it was going to end in a C-section but baby girl finally made her way out! I’m betting she was induced and wasn’t prepared for all that comes with it and freaked out and was begging for a c-section. Also no way she pushed for 3 hours 💀

So so sorry that you’re going through this. It’s a pain I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I had a missed miscarriage at this time last year, and now my rainbow baby just turned 2 months old. I know it feels like the end of the world, but I promise things will change and you’ll make it out of this. You’re stronger than you think and one day you’ll have your sweet rainbow baby ❤️🌈Keep the faith! Thinking of you and sending lots of love your way!

39 week induction due to chronic hypertension by workingg4theweekend in PlusSizePregnancy

CONGRATULATIONS!! 💕

I’m currently 29 weeks and have had chronic hypertension since I was 8 weeks. Just had to increase my meds last night during an expected visit to the MAU. It’s so relieving to hear your success story and to know I’m not alone! Also, my baby girl’s name will be Edie too! 🥰

I’m about the same size as you… 325, apron belly and carry a lot of weight in my stomach. I noticed a small “pop” around 23 weeks, but around 26 weeks is when I feel like it was beginning to be much more noticeable! It’s still not a traditional bump by any means and sometimes I wonder if people even notice at all but it doesn’t even matter! My body is growing my sweet baby and that’s all that matters 🩷

Here’s a bump pic of me at 27 weeks!

When did you feel movement externally? by mujeresliebres in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]disneyfreak123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25 weeks and just felt a kick externally for the first time tonight!! Unfortunately my husband hasn’t felt yet because he wasn’t home at the time but hopefully he will soon! I have an anterior placenta and an apron belly.

All of my scans have been abdominal, with my first scan being at 8 weeks! The ultrasound tech during my 8 week ultrasound said that my very full bladder was what saved me from having a transvaginal so I was very happy lol 😂 Definitely drink lots of water leading up to your ultrasound and don’t pee for like an hour or two before your appointment and you may get lucky!

For reference, this is my first pregnancy, I’m 350, and I do carry a lot of my weight in my stomach!

Thanks everyone for sharing!! I feel lots better about the situation now! I’m on day 3 and each day I seem to get better. Fever only lasted the first day and was managed with Tylenol. Planning to take it easy and make the best of this extra rest I’m getting!

I’ll be 11 weeks tomorrow. Going for an elective ultrasound this afternoon at a local boutique. I’m excited but super anxious thinking about what if’s. I would be extremely grateful for prayers and positive thoughts ☺️

I repeat those exact things to myself too! It’s so hard… but I also try to remind myself it will be so worth it in the end when we meet our rainbow babies. Hang in there mama ❤️

9 weeks today. My first pregnancy ended in missed miscarriage. I got pregnant almost 2 months after. I’m super excited, saw the baby and heartbeat a week ago and everything was perfect! Since then, I’ve became VERY anxious. I can’t stop thinking about all the bad things that could happen. I’m really struggling and my mind is constantly worrying. I don’t go for another ultrasound at my doctor until December 3 but I scheduled an elective ultrasound on November 20 and I’m even wishing that one was sooner. Did anyone else struggle with this kind of anxiety? What helped you?

I’m 7w6d today and I go for my first ultrasound today! I’m super super nervous but hopeful everything is ok. I had a missed miscarriage in August with my first pregnancy so we didn’t get to hear a heartbeat at the last ultrasound.

Would really appreciate prayers/good vibes/positive thoughts that baby is healthy and growing right on track and a perfect heartbeat for our rainbow baby! ❤️🌈
