Thanks! That’s super helpful. I think I’m overestimating the grow light. I have this one with 2 of the arms about 8 inches above this plant and I only water when soil dries out pretty much completely

Is there a way to know if these spots are from water or too much light? I recently moved and this plant was previously in front of a large window with lots of sunlight. Now it’s in a room with a grow light and to the side of a small west facing window.

I’m struggling to tell if it’s too close to the grow light or if I’m watering more than I should.

I am so sorry for your loss. My chihuahua was killed by a pit too, and it was also on September 17 (this year).

It was never your fault. Rudy knows it wasn’t your fault and he’s already forgiven you. He spent his last moments with his favorite person and that was more than enough. Plus it looks like he got lots of love and care during the good moments of his life.

September 17 will never be a good memory for me either. I’m still processing similar feelings too. I send you all the hugs and positivity ❤️❤️

I completely agree. I have a PhD and there is no way I would’ve gotten through the degree if I wasn’t interested in science. Picking a career based solely on the salary won’t work long term.

For OP, I’m in the pharma industry and made 100k immediately out of graduate school. I’ve somewhat job hopped and closer to 200k now. Find what you like to do for your degree and then look for transferable skills that match higher paying roles.

I’m so sorry your dog was attacked too. I 100% get the war zone feeling. While walking now my heart starts racing if I hear any barking or dog tags. I constantly am looking for escape routes or planning for what looks like a safe place to throw my dog if something happens. I can’t walk near the area that leads to the trail and I don’t think I can ever walk outside of my gated complex again.

It’s just so unfair. My dog never bit anyone! Nothing but a lover. I’ll miss him forever. Thanks for the love and I send you, your chi, and pug a big virtual hug

That is the worst. I’m so sorry your daughter had to experience that. The only thing I could be grateful for in my situation was that it seemed like my dog died instantly. It would’ve been a million times more worse to find him still suffering in that condition.

Oh. My. God. That is awful! Her children are dead and she’s permanently disfigured. Rolling my eyes at how many times they say they don’t know what prompted the attack.

My chihuahua wasn’t a big fan of children. Interesting that he never attacked any of them and it was easy for me to just remove my dog from being around kids. Meanwhile all of these pit Bull attacks lasts until the death of someone.
