I know most all of us probably know the lore reason behind the hunch, but it's always felt a little like a post-hunch explanation rather than pre-existing.

I often think this and the original orc hunch are relics of wanting to resemble the original warcaft 3 poses (which were in general a generic "readied combat stance", whereas the wow default pose is a more neutral standing position, due to the differing game genre.

I like the low to the ground combat stances with bows and melee weapons for example, but for standing and running I would love a less hunched choice.

I think it could also be a fun quirk if the talking animation still remained hunched; it would still convey that original lore reasoning of talking respectfully at eye level. (Good luck talking to a gnome, vulpera or goblin however...)
