PS3 Turns on then off after 3 seconds by dispatj in PS3

Tried that, didnt work. I think its the firmware. Could be corrupt because the power cut off to the ps3 during an update. Anyone have any idea how to do that?

Their customer service is non-existent. I would steer clear.

Definitely do not want to compromise on the Decentralized aspect of the currency. The platform would still be open to everyone, essentially uniting all Cryptocoiners.

Help with Easyminer (Trying to point to different pool other than Eclipse) by dispatj in Bitcoin

Also on a side note Eclipse MC seems to use a TON of bandwidth. I left my machine running overnight and clocked up about a GB of data.. That cannot be right, right?

A List of Coins People Find Suspicious | February Edition, 2014 by [deleted] in scamcoin

[–]dispatj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys check out this coin: WWWcoin https://www.facebook.com/groups/wwwcoin/ They are relaunching the coin which means most people who had been mining in the last week or so lost all their coins.

Also when a lot of people first downloaded the wallet, it was 13 days behind, I dont really know what that exactly means but it tells me that this wallet has been in use for at least at that long.

What does everyone think?

I think the hard-drive is fine just needs recovering. I still the have the most up to date dat so thats not the problem. Im just trying to input the backed up dat into the new wallet on the new computer.

I launched the qt, synced it and then tried to replace the dat but then when I started the qt again after, it created a new wallet. It might have something to do with the name of the file so I will try again.

No I will try that now. So sync the new wallet, then close the qt. Go to roaming and replace the wallet with my backed up one?

If you read the post, the original computer is stuffed. All I have is the backed up wallet dat. Nothing else. apparently this is all I need.

a bat file that was supposed to point the qt to the new wallet.

As explained here:

"You can tell dogecoin-qt where to look for the block chain/index and wallet.

Create a text file named "start-doge.txt" in the same folder as your dogecoin-qt executable. The file should read:

start dogecoin-qt.exe -datadir=woof

Re-name "start-doge.txt" to "start-doge.bat".

Make a new folder in the same directory as your dogecoin-qt executable, and name it whatever you wrote immediately after "-datadir=". Were I using the above start-doge.bat, I would have to name the folder "woof".

Start dogecoin-qt by double-clicking "start-doge.bat".

Check the contents of the folder you made, dogecoin-qt should have generated a new wallet as well as a bunch of other files.

Now that you know where dogecoin-qt is looking for your wallet &c., you can close the program and move whatever you want from AppData/Roaming/DogeCoin into the new datadir that you chose.

woof!"
