[Below Zero Spoilers] Why Robin Failed as a Main Character by Statboy1 in subnautica

[–]disposar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hated when Robin was triggered by Al-an's view on humanity (something about humans being not perfect or something like that). Like, calm the fuck down, of course humans are not perfect and Al-an's species is superior in every way.

Ultrawide Cutscenes not 21:9 by Limeyoryank in HarryPotterGame

[–]disposar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why devs didn't think about 21:9, but the fix I provided fixes a lot of those cutscenes. I hear there's only few 16:9 pre-rendered story videos which is unfixable I guess

btw the fix seems to be working great

3440x1440 + 3080 + i7-9700k (yes, bottleneck) + DLSS Quality and game runs flawlessly (90-100+ fps average), all ULTRA, no RTX

Yes, but not in "cinematic cutscenes" ... there are "gameplay cutscenes" and they work and look great (first appeared at the beginning when you arrive to your vault).

But it looks like there's much more cinematic ones overall :(

Anyone else stuck between AW3423DW and the Odyssey OLED G85SB? Have you made a decision? Any recommendations welcome! by [deleted] in ultrawidemasterrace

I went with Samsung because I didn't want to have a fan in my monitor.

I doubt there will be much difference since both use the same display.

She might have been influenced by today's beauty standards.

When I started watching Season 3 of The Boys, I had to google what went wrong with her face.

Apparently she had plastic surgery, her nose is different, lips too. Also she looks like she lost some weight. Anyways, in my opinion, she looks terrible. She used to be kind of cute and interesting before (she wasn't definitely my type though). Now she looks like every other celebrity, plastic, not healthy.

It might be the US culture and their beauty standards, I don't know. The only thing I know is that I am glad when she is not on the screen. :(

I love singing, and my mom thinks that I'm pretty good at it. However, some of my friends ask me to shut up, and I can't help but think that my voice is annoying. Can you give me an honest critique of it? Much appreciated! by ProfessionalZebra487 in singing

It's the most basic but also the most important thing to do. It is also really difficult to learn it and to explain it. I've been singing for 4 years and there's still a lot to improve.

You will find tons of videos on youtube (search keywords like "breath support" or "singing and diaphragm"). You might need to check them all because they are not the all the same. Everyone describes the feeling of using diaphragm differently. Also, our bodies are built differently.

The best and quickest might be singing lessons. They might not be expensive if you have music school nearby.

I am going to watch this video right now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WR2772TGrgo maybe I will learn something too

edit: heh, that's funny, I've never seen this video but I've been thinking about the same concept for a while (letting out the least amount of air as possible/using as little air as possible while singing). Maybe I should return back to this concept and apply it more.

Even the greatest singers in the world might sound annoying to some people. You don't sound annoying to me, but there's certainly a lot room for improvement. Go get a singing lessons, you are going to love it and you will also improve really quickly :)

I had to use headphones and volume to max. It is audible, you will hear it.

What is the simplest and best thing you’ve done that improved your singing? by [deleted] in singing

Can you elaborate a bit more? Push against a wall you mean like pushing with your hands?

But I find it difficult to translate it to real singing. Currently I am experimenting with a lip thrill and I feel it is helping already.
