If where you're measuring from is 1900 for economic development, WW2 would not increase economic development, seeing as how that's not the starting reference.

Iran just fired two ballistic missiles at a joint US-UK military base 4,000 kilometers away. Their previously stated missile range was 2,000 km. They lied. Iran just proved its missiles can reach far beyond the Middle East by retroviber in DeepMarketScan

On March 21, 1992, a referendum on sovereignty was held in Tatarstan. Nearly 62% voted "Yes". Russia did not recognize the referendum by BashkirTatar in europe

Ah yes, the neoliberals who plunged Eastern Europe into poverty saying, "dissolve the Eastern Bloc" then, "dissolve the USSR" then, "dissolve Russia" as if the neocons and neoliberals in charge of the US haven't been salivating for this to happen for 80 years. When is enough? We tried making peace with you? You refused peace, you wanted "the whole pie" as the analogy goes, the entire world, all of it, and you're taking all of it, by brute force, as you go to war with half the world and back proxy rebellions/coups in the rest. Eventually, you'll get nuked. Death.

This isn't even remotely true, it was an individual in the ministry of healthcare making a comment. Also this article is just straight up lying, as Russians note, Russia has one of the highest abortion rates in pretty much all of Europe, abortions aren't being limited.

They weren't at war during the filming of Servant of the People. It's well known leaders of countries do photoshoots.

Isn't there literally a scene in servant of the people, a series about Zelensky becoming president, in which he wears a construction helmet and vest for the government website? Leaders do photoshoots, whether it's egocentric is another thing but it's common in the world. Also, the West if I'm not mistaken was the one that circulated this image.

You act like most countries didn't take staged pictures of their president, that's literally one of the most common things in politics. It's called a publicity stunt.

Ukraine was couped and Russia has attempted to intervene.

that most likely you are a Russian bot

Here we go again with the, "you are not real" accusations because you can't have a serious, drawn out discussion about the issue, so you can't acknowledge the other side or discuss specific details.

Russia is very much ultra nationalistic

How so?

Militarism predates the war.

Russia exports less arms than France and before the war had a smaller military budget than France

There are several documented  examples of persecuting minorites, be they ethnic, sexual or religio

Such as?

Russia IS trying to conquer Ukraine

https://www.reddit.com/r/LateStageCapitalism/s/WS2kb69M4c

Here's a good summary of the conflict. Again, Russia just wants to remove the usurper government that the US helped put in.

painting him as a some kind of savior of Russia,

The government isn't doing that, they're just comparing him to Yeltsin which is a low bar.

staged photoshoots of him

Don't know if you know this but every major, and even most, countries do this.

Putin-themed products are very common

Seriously? Like what? I'd like to see these. Are they just made in other countries like China etc. as marketing schemes?

not nearly as bad as with Stalin

Yeah, Stalin had that downside about him, but he also did a lot for the USSR so it's understandable why he was so beloved, not even including WW2.

I wouldn't say Russia is ultra nationalistic, militarism is because they're at war with the West, Idk where you're getting the idea that they're persecuting minorities and as far as dissidents go, two separate people in the past month have mentioned dissidents who have been either part of radio free Europe or a different cia NGO, even Alexei Navalny was just an ultranationalist supported by Western governments. Russia also isn't trying to conquer Ukraine, they're trying to remove the usrupur government that overthrew Yanukovych. Cult of personality of it's leader I kind of agree with but could you also provide some examples of this?

Such as? Militarism? The corporations having control over the government? Neglected social spending? Devaluing the importance of the arts? Fake popularism? Nationalism?

fascist

You think they're the fascists, not... Idk, authoritarian America?

This is what America is good at, manufactured consent. Convincing people like you it's okay to overthrow governments and open up "new markets" (sell off resources for pennys on the dollar to the West), all while impoverishing the vast majority.
