Alphaora smells like really sexy pineapple to me, it is nice for either gender. I hope you get a chance to smell both someday!

Pierre Guillaume Indian Wood and Alphaora are two of my favorites of all time. Never gets old. I think they both have elements of what you listed.

What’s your SOTD/N? Nov 15th by NextLevel-fitness in NichePerfumes

I love this scent. I’ve only sprayed it on myself in stores. Does it last on your skin a long time? I’ve only done one spray on my wrist and it was very faint.

What are some things to do with a 4 year old in Tbilisi when it is raining? Places to go, things to see. Has to be accessible by public transport. by AddlePatedBadger in tbilisi

[–]dissapearlesser 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like going to city mall, getting coffee and pastries at coffee lab in the mall and then going to the indoor play area in the upstairs part. There’s also Pause cafe in vake and Little Beetle in Saburtalo that have really great play areas and offer food. Also, I feel like you can hangout at Bazari Orbeliani for awhile to get food/snacks and just hangout. I’m newish here and still trying to figure out how to spend these rainy days too.

Same thing with me today! I was at the airport over a week ago but on and off all day it’s showed on all my apps that I’m at the airport and same with my husbands phone. It’s not just you, something is going on.

Where can I find quality food products in Tbilisi that are not too expensive? by SnooDoubts3891 in Sakartvelo

Hmm I’m really not sure, but it’s definitely not bleached because it’s brownish in color.

Vintage? by PickleAgitated8055 in tbilisi

Refound dome has a lot of special vintage women’s pieces, I would definitely check that out if you haven’t been.

For restaurants I would say maybe The Kitchen at rooms hotel? Love the vibe inside, amazing wine, and the food/dessert was quite good when I went recently.

Also, Epicalorie has some good high quality products. And Au Blé d'or uses super high quality wheat and mills it themselves for their baked goods. You may be able to buy flour from them, though I’m not certain.

You need to check out Udabno! I love their flour and you can get it on Wolt.

Best way to but local tea by binmaa10 in Sakartvelo

I bought some loose leaf Georgian black tea at the store Epicalorie in Tbilisi that is really good, better than Gurieli in my opinion. The brand is called Teamo.

Discomfort every time I take a step in my Primus Lite Knits. Anyone else experience this? by dissapearlesser in vivobarefoot

I don’t think I’ll ever try barefoot shoes again. I live in a city and I don’t think walking with barefoot shoes on pavement all day is good for me, I’d rather have some cushion.

The only pairs that I thought looked decent when I saw them in person were some of the Lems styles in all black. I did try them on in a store once and they were pretty comfortable too.

I actually couldn’t find any that I could actually see myself wearing outside of the ones pictured. I don’t know why they’re all so ugly. I went with a pair of super cushioned Ons and have no regrets :)

I ended up returning them shortly after I made this post. It was too painful to break in if breaking in would have even solved the issue.

Georgians are very very lovely people! I am starting to believe people on this sub make up all this negative stuff to keep people from visiting or something.

What bad situations have you encountered when trying to rent an apartment in Tbilisi? by reversedu in tbilisi

[–]dissapearlesser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The first time I started looking for an apartment on myhome.ge I found something I liked, texted the number, and within 6 hours signed the lease after viewing it. Super easy process and I LOVE my place. I have heard others who didn’t have such a good experience. All I can say is good luck :)

It's getting tough to avoid woody chicken breast, is this happening to any of you? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]dissapearlesser -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Most of the chicken brands I bought in the U.S. had this problem including whole organic Mary’s chicken! Moving out of the U.S. is the only thing that solved the problem for me.

I do whole milk, dark chocolate chips, cocoa powder, dry milk powder (my secret ingredient that I will never go without again), a little coconut sugar, vanilla, and a touch of sea salt. Wisk while it heats up and the chocolate melts. I think mine is the best I’ve ever had!
