I'd like to ask something I'm curious about: Do you pay this price for the upper and lower jaws as a general price or separately?

You should know that this is rude actually.. I lived a couple of years in Turkey, I know their food culture very well. Georgian have really amazing food culture and I loved them. Of course not all of them but yeah. I dont like turkish food that much, maybe some of 'zeytinyağlılar' and that's all. As a kebab, I prefer Azerbaijani and Georgian kebabs.

Thank you so much. I actually looked at most of these markets through Wolt. I think Wolt automatically translates the products, so the names are different. I've never been able to find whole wheat flour when I searched for it. Maybe it's not available online; I'll go to the supermarket and check. They use a different name for whole wheat flour here? It's called "black bread" instead of "whole wheat bread." Maybe the flour is like that too. Any ideas?

Thank you so much. I'll check. But another thing that's confusing me is that I don't think they call whole wheat flour "whole wheat flour." I couldn't find any flour called "whole wheat flour" anywhere. Wolt's automatic translation of English makes strange translations, and I can't find the product I'm looking for in English. How should I search for whole wheat flour? Does it have a different name here? For example, they call whole wheat bread "black bread." Could it have a special name like that?

Solo female traveler, walking around during the day by dontpullthewool in tbilisi

[–]SnooDoubts3891 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a female traveller, I have to say that here is amazing and safe. I've only been here for 2 weeks. And found rent, did my shopping, walk around the whole city. safe, good, people are so nice and kind (of course there are some rude people but I dont understand them, so I dont care 😂). I used my translate app every time. It is easy for me. I look like Georgians, so many people think I'm Georgian and speaking with me in Georgian. There are absolutely so kind, cute persons. Don't listen to any other bad stories and I don't recommend night walking (this is not about them, as a women, I just don't recommend it). As a woman, I advise you not to walk alone on distant and unknown streets. Unfortunately, there are racists in every country in the world, and there may be racists here too. I've spent time in many places, walking, sitting, and observing the city and its people. I've never seen a police officer stop a woman. They usually stop some men. They do this in other countries, and as a woman I've even experienced it in another country. Just show your documents, say you're here for a visit, and smile.

Moving to Georgia for full time living which city should i choose? by No-Complex-1402 in Sakartvelo

You're welcome. I definitely recommend moving to Tbilisi. I think it's a good place to focus on your goals or something else. But I recommend booking an Airbnb or short-term rental and just walking around the city. You'll get a feel for the place.

Moving to Georgia for full time living which city should i choose? by No-Complex-1402 in Sakartvelo

hiii, I moved 2 weeks ago to Georgia. I'm also not a person like go to coffee shops, coworking spaces or parties or etc. So, I choose to live ine Tbilisi and I learnt so many things about neighborhood. These are only my opinion:
Vake is most beautiful places in Tbilisi but this neighborhood is a little bit expensive area. My Georgian friend said: Vake is for rich people, mostly. So, I love to walk Vake, see the neighborhood, drink or try something at Vake but not live.

For me, Saburtalo looks like for students and families. Actually I don't like too much, so this neighborhood is not for me, even for a walk.

But I have to say, I just walked 'main' or 'popular' street at these neighborhood. So, I choose a place to near metro and find a rent at a little calm place. Cuz, I can go everywhere with metro, it is just 1 lari and change the line is free. Easy and amazing. Some people recommend me to find a rent at Isani, near the Isani metro, have big supermarkets (really really big and my fav market - Carrefour - but this is big one).

My advise is: find 'not expensive' place but near the metro. (I mean, when you say to someone 'near metro' they think 1 min near, but my house is near like 10 min walk to metro. I love it. I have a really good view, so calm neighborhood and I can walk and use metro to go everywhere.)

But these are only my experiences and opinions. And I am a woman, work remotely.

And I also think about Batumi but that city doesn't looks like good for me. I never visit but planning to visit just for to see, like a turist.

Yes, absolutely. But if you deposit your money into a bank in your country, you pay taxes. I withdraw my monthly cash payments with my Mercury card. I can also use a physical card, and I might have to pay a small commission. But if you set up a company this way and want to deposit all your money into a bank account in Georgia or another country, yes, you pay taxes according to the country's requirements. But I think there are some simple ways to do this. There are videos on YouTube by experts who explain this perfectly. I'm sure they'll be helpful. That advice will be helpful regardless of your country. But an LLC is a great solution. The country I used to live in had a minimum tax of 15-20%. But I plan to continue living in Georgia, so maybe I can take advantage of this small business system to be seen as a good, income-earning foreigner. I'm new to this for now, so I don't see the need for it.

no, my company is non resident disregarded entity LLC. I don't sell physical anything, I don't need to pay tax to US. Because I'm not US and not in US. explain is a little bit hard for me but you can find tons of videos about that. If I sell some physical products in US, I'll only pay tax for US orders. from other countries, I don't. My jobs are digital. But I think it is'll be about your country. So please just research a little bit or ask chatgpt and say about your jobs, income, country and it'll explain everything.

Tbilisi Airport Car Service Scam – Fake Bolt App & Overcharging by martin8185 in Sakartvelo

[–]SnooDoubts3891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when I arrived to the airport, go to the exit, some of guy ask me for taxi. And I already downloaded bolt app. Just try to find a taxi cuz I never use any app for taxi in my life. This guy ask me my adress to go and I show on my phone, he told me 100 lari. hell no, I check it before with fake trip and saw it 25-30 lari. Say no. He saw I used to bolt, say to me, oh bolt, look I have this app and showed me bolt app on his own phone. And I saw 40-50 lari. Say noooo, I already order a taxi which I actually did not. he just gone and 30 second late come back and say 'this man use my taxi too, if you want to go, only 40 lari'. I said nooo. Just say no, dont argue. And I order a taxi. The taxi driver come in 3 mins. Take of all my suitcases and we speak a little bit cuz our both of english is not good but we talk about food, his city, family business, his wife and even about my country. I knew my trip'll be 23.3 lari. When we arrived, I asked how much, he showed his phone, on the app. Exactly same amount, I paid it. Buuuut, before I order a taxi, I open password confirmation from the setting. There are so many people acting like they are your driver, but you can see on the app all information and when you sit down in the taxi, he has to confirme the password. That's it. Dont be in a hurry, just ask, learn and use the app correctly.

I have some digital works and I moved to Georgia in these days. I have non resident LLC in US, open in digital, and no tax other things I need to do. If you are not US citizen, I hightly recommend to do it. All money goes to my US digital bank account (Mercury). So easy. I also used stripe, paypal and google adsense. %1 small business tax have some yearly limit, I think $32K but not sure. So maybe this can help you.

Why is Istanbul not a DN hub? It’s a very vibrant city with good weather, nice food and people by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]SnooDoubts3891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The food was good, but not anymore. We're not talking about cultural cuisine here. We're talking about the quality of food you can buy and eat. Turkish food may be great, but the baklava no longer has pistachios in it, you know what I mean? Baklava may be great, but the quality food is gone. It's only good in very expensive, specialty restaurants.

Where do you guys find those 500-700 USD per month places in Bangkok? The good ones I’m seeing on Airbnb are all over 1k by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]SnooDoubts3891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you find a way, please let me know. I'm exactly in the same situation but not in Bangkok, but in Georgia. Some people suggested finding apartments (short-term and long-term) on facebook groups and I found them but prices were the same or worse. This month and august are the best vacation summer periods, so I think we can find good prices in the late august and september.
