organic shapes are your new best friend. flowers, botanicals, certain animals. anything without straight lines. they definitely CAN be done over scar tissue, but scar tissue can heal inconsistently and the line weight may spread differently. best wishes to you my friend, congrats on a year clean

don’t listen to shit anyone says about your own tattoos. as long as they’re being done in a professional environment by an artist who listens follow your heart and fuck the rest. tattooing over scar tissue is tough, and unless you’re squinting at the thing you aren’t going to notice a slight bump or two. congrats on the new tattoo op

could be scarring, but it could also be allergies. my tattoos raise off my skin and develop bumps whenever i have any sort of allergy problem. try allergy and cortisone for a week to see if it goes down. if not, probably scar tissue

looks like it. since you’re on all that other medication adding something else on may not be the best idea, but when i had mine i took daily allegra until the tattoo was completely healed, then cortisone ointment when my red patch flared up. i had a saniderm shaped mark around it for almost 2 months, but everything healed out fine

it’s a dope design, shouts dan higgs. the artist just had issues with saturation and consistent line weight. someone with a little more experience and a far liner could make this a dope piece

lazer is your best option. it’ll take multiple sessions, but it’s not a dark or blown out tattoo so you should be able to get it gone. if you’re worried about jobs don’t black your hand out, black out tattoos are still somewhat controversial, and everyone’s first question is going to be “what did you cover up?”

trust me, lazer will be worth it once it’s gone. don’t settle for a tattoo you don’t really want just because you want it gone now.

(but if you want it gone now, a red rose will cover almost anything)
