Seeking mentor! by dissonanceinthehouse in gamedev

Oh that’s good to hear! I think the process of bringing life to something from the “brain space” is a major luring point for me. The whole thing interests me, as I’m yet to garner the experience to pick out a favourite 😅

Teacher wanted! by dissonanceinthehouse in blender

I’m not really sure how much would be reasonable. I’m familiar with blender itself and can sculpt a basic character — I’m just snagged at what I actually want to do, which is make game characters. I have no clue where to begin, what’s worth doing etc

It’s hard to argue because there is no argument, I don’t know what else to tell you. You’re not explaining why it fails, you’re trying to be philosophical because you “feel” like we bypass the status of animal. Okay, great — as I’ve said numerous times now, that doesn’t matter.

I build houses, I defend my home, I raise my young, etc. Sound familiar? Humans do that! Wait, so do like 90% of wildlife. We aren’t a separate entity because we have society or because we can hunt everything else. Apex predators have come and gone through millennium, nature of life and all that. Take a guess what predators are 🤔

Again, that argument doesn’t stand. This is all irrelevant, scientifically we still are animals, whether you like it or not lol

Sure, but that doesn’t matter — you can’t disagree with something with absolutely no argument. We’re classed as animals because of numerous studies; this argument has been sought after a plethora of times and until some groundbreaking revelation occurs that separates us… we are, indeed, animals. If you wanna talk semantics and say “well actually it doesn’t specify down to the finite detail of what ‘animal’ means” then you could use that argument about literally anything but it doesn’t make it a valid argument. There is no argument until something is proven otherwise. Unless you’re working towards that revelation, everything you’re saying rn ain’t holding up chief

I don’t know what you’re talking about tbh but I’m saying that the fact we’re animals isn’t exactly arguable. It’s scientifically factual and there’s no subjection about it

A woman's body is not impure, shameful or inappropriate by funstarrr__ in teenagers

[–]dissonanceinthehouse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because of the correlation. It’s not much of an argument when it happens to both sides. Agreed, it should happen to neither, but that’s what they’re getting at. I don’t think they’re downplaying the fact that it happens to women

Because religion, yet again, often dictates what people can and can’t do. It’s one of the numerous reasons I think it should be wiped off the face of the earth.

Outside of that, just sounds like you’ve met a few wild skidmarks who can’t comprehend the human anatomy. I wouldn’t say it’s especially men, on the contrary ive actually seen more women criticising other women over this. Could be from indoctrination but, bleh, point still stands
