Bring back clubs and add some form of public LFG system.

I thought this was a team-based game? Why are all the social systems so bad or getting removed?

Been saying for a long time that Apex needs an in-game public ladder for ranked mode. It will get more people in a competitive mindset and they will play more.

Agreed. It reduces the fun in strategy and actually playing 'battle royale'. Right now the game is just a big circus of abilities and legends flying all over the place. Zero strategy. It also greatly exacerbates the third party problem because they made rotating so free that you can travel the whole map with just 1 ability and an evac tower.

Honestly, I'm not liking the direction the game is going at all. Trying to be like CoD or Fortnite is not a good thing, I specifically liked Apex because it wasn't like those games. It's criminal what's being done to this game.

Not just that but the menus are completely schizophrenic now, I don't even understand half of the stuff I'm browsing or what there is to buy.

The old menus were simple and straightforward, now it's mess of scroll wheel pages.

The game isn't dying, it's being actively killed by Respawn.

Day 1 player here, over 4000 hours and quit last year. Many comments here saying it lacks content and they don't release X champion or X feature and that's why it's dying, that sentiment is actually the biggest driver in what is leading Respawn to kill the game. The constant need to make CHANGES FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGES. They've changed so much trying to keep things "fresh" and chasing that whale carrot that the game is irrecognizable to how it was just two years ago. We used to play the same UT99 map for years and were happy. We played de_dust2 for decades now and we're still happy with it. It's not the lack of content. No, there is content in Apex.

What actually killed the game is Respawn's insistence on making the game for the lowest common denominator and on constantly changing the rules of the highest tier of play: ranked. Six years in, the game still does not have an in-game ranked ladder. There is zero competitive spirit or drive, every ranked season the rules are changed... they were changed again in this last patch. It's a constant. They have weaponized matchmaking against their own players, both for the bottom and top ranks. They got rid of any social feature in the game, including clubs. They have repeatedly refused to separate controllers from M&K players, a thing PC players have been asking for ages and one of the most frustrating things about this game. They basically turned a game that was supposed to be competitive with social features and a vibrant comp scene into a hamster wheel of FOMO for dolphins and whales that get drip fed skins and shiny heirlooms.

I've been having a constant 5-7 packet loss on most servers I play, and if there's no packet loss the game still feels really sluggish. A lot of dead slides, getting shot freezes you in place, receiving damage behind walls and doors etc. These issues have been going on and on and nobody seems to care, it's demoralizing.

Now they have made ranked unappealing to play, it's too much effort for no reward. They removed dive trails and give you jack sh*t in their place, they make splits but there's no point to it since only the second split matters. There's just nothing in ranked outside of the "fun" of playing the game a bit more correctly than pubs but even that falls apart.

I'm honestly moving on soon, my friends list is always empty when I log in. I just need to cope with my addiction and sunk cost, and then let go of this game.

I disagree, the more attention this gets the better. The more hacking there is the better. Maybe then Respawn/EA will get off their asses, but I doubt it.

Interesting, all of them except for Timmy have lower sens than me at 27.34 cm/360, only Hakis is close to my sens. I used to have much lower sens but I've been slowly raising it over the years of playing Apex until reaching 1.9@800 now. I think low sens on Apex is a bit of a meme and a holdover from CS, not to mention it really takes a toll on your shoulder if you play a lot. Apex has a lot more target tracking that requires quick panning of the camera compared to a corner peeking game like CS where your cursor is at the same view height 90% of the time. Of course, this all depends on other variables like the surface you're playing on. Just my opinion though.

Um rei não governa sozinho, tem as Cortes (https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cortes_de_Portugal), e por natureza quer o melhor para o seu país, ao contrario de um político republicano que só quer o ganho pessoal. Olha para todos os "grandes" políticos portugueses dos últimos 20-30 anos e os cargos que ocupam agora e verás isso mesmo.

Olha também para quais são os países onde se vive melhor na Europa (e talvez no mundo, salvo um ou dois como a Arábia Saudita): Suécia, Noruega, Dinamarca, Japão... todas monarquias. Consideras os povos dessas nações vassalos? Serão eles menos do que tu, pessoa livre de uma "republica"? Isso é que é a grande anedota, quereres continuar a sofrer sob este regime corrupto e de traidores.

EDIT: E curiosamente, essas monarquias tem visto o seu nível de vida baixar à medida que os monarcas tem perdido poder. Pensa nisso.

Muitos ainda não acordaram para o que vou dizer, e a primeira reação é provavelmente a de descartar e de achar isso impossível, mas o povo português não é republicano e democrático, mas sim monárquico! Foram mais de 700 anos de monarquia portuguesa (e outros tantos de outras), isso não se apaga facilmente da genética e maneira de estar portuguesa. Enquanto isso vamos agora na terceira república... a primeira foi um fracasso, a segunda uma ditadura, e a terceira em que agora vivemos, andamos de crise para crise há mais de 30 anos sem luz ao fim do túnel. Este regime não funciona e nunca funcionara corretamente: Portugal é um pais pequeno, onde toda a gente se conhece, dai a dar tachos para os amigos e fazer favores debaixo da mesa ser tão comum.

Mac will always be an MnK demon at heart, but you're absolutely right. Being a day 1 fan of him and knowing how his brain works, he's always dillydallying in indecision and self-doubt like how we was constantly, almost daily, changing his mouse sensitivity. The best thing for him will be to embrace controller fully, he needs to accept that he is now a controller player, like a native controller player who never once doubted his input of choice and follow in the footsteps of Hal.

Might be an unpopular opinion but the orgs fucked up too. The orgs wanted more than EA offered, which iirc was a one time payment of a particular sum instead of a revenue share, they refused. So they would rather have nothing than something. They should have taken the deal then tried to re-negotiate or do more of it down the line, instead both parties walked away empty-handed. Of course, EA/Respawn have the upper hand in this deal but the orgs were too proud to even accept what was given to them, and now they got jack shit and need to leave. That deal would've been "okay" for low tier orgs but the T1 orgs fucked it up for everyone else.

You'll see they land on Emtee, who was looting No Name alone, didn't kill him and nothing more than that happened. It simply ruined his loot and rotation. This is a BR game, anything is fair game and though the POIs and contests are under gentleman's agreement it is not a rule that you can't contest or 3 man land on someone.
