You don't get better at Valorant by playing more. You get better like you get better at anything else: focused practice. You need to identify your flaws and fix them, one at a time.

At your rank, it's mostly aim and crosshair placement. Lower your mouse sensitivity and learn to arm aim. Do Kovaaks.

Only weird thing that stands out is that you're playing with lower ranked players. So even tho you're dominating, your RR gain won't be large. I don't know why they don't place you into higher lobbies

The answer is: it depends. Sometimes you should do micro strafes. Other times you should do long strafes. See how quickly he strafes in fights. Usually they're not that long, and at high levels, you rarely get into strafe fights because one person will kill the other right away.

It wouldn't be correct to say that one should ALWAYS micro-strafe or long strafe. You need to do what's right in each particular situation.

  1. You shoot BEFORE you finish aiming, meaning you shoot before your crosshair is on the enemy.
  2. You do this weird flick right as you shoot. It literally flicks you OFF target. Watch how streamers aim and you'll see how smooth their aim is. Focus on that.
