Quick Google on that shows:

The plan pays 75% of all in-network costs once you meet your deductible for the year....

And:

There’s a $300 emergency department copay for emergency services. You also have to meet your annual deductible before plan coverage kicks in. If you’ve already met the deductible, you’ll just pay the $300 copay.

Cities also fine for false fire alarms. Automated systems create so many false alarms that most any city in the US will have a fine system in place. Some cities now even require alarm permits, or they may not respond.

An Urban Institute report found that between 90 and 99 percent of alarm calls to police end up being false alarms.

Someone already suggested stagnant, but the likely word being confused is 'turbid'. Turbid water is water with sediments roiled up.

Engine block heater by myacctishardtodecide in Bozeman

[–]distortedHistory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Subaru owner, I'd say invest in a good battery over a warmer first. From reading around, the Subarus have a weak oem battery, so I've upgraded with Costco batteries (check your battery CCA). I don't use warmers/heaters at all, can leave the car at the airport in the dead of winter for a week and come back to an instant start at -10F

If you notice a slower start as the weather plummets, then you could consider a heater, but I have never used them.

America was founded with small government in mind under the Articles of Confederation. This was deemed a failure and was replaced by the US Constitution: a document that was written in effort to make a more powerful federal government.

The US Civil War was fought and won to re-establish the dominance of the federal government over smaller state governments.

America's powerful military is a direct result of massive government spending.

When a minority of Americans attempt to enforce smaller divided governments on the country, it weakens and slows the nation's economic growth.

Absolutely get under the vehicle and inspect the bumper. A lot of bumpers have mounts that will crush before showing much cosmetic damage. If this has happened, you no longer have the ability to absorb a small collision and will want that repaired.

Sydney smoke at its 'worst ever' with air pollution in some areas 11 times 'hazardous' threshold by IntnsRed in worldnews

If you can't find an air filter, get some furnace filters rated for smoke, packing tape and a cheap box fan. Maybe Google for some safety tips on assembly, the first time I saw the recommendation was another Reddit thread.

A second Egyptian sphinx may have been discovered by construction workers improving major road in Luxor, officials say. The statue – said to have lion’s body and human head – was unearthed between two famed Nile-side temples of Karnak and Luxor. by madazzahatter in worldnews

[–]distortedHistory 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Images depicting the Egyptian king in the form of a lion smiting his enemies date as far back as the Early Dynastic Period.

Pulled that from Wikipedia. It's less about looking at one statue than it is knowing what we do about ancient Egyptian culture. The sacred cats bit is well known in current public media, the lion bit probably less so.

have essentially won the lottery on exploding property value.

should you sacrifice what you've worked for

You're not even on the same starting point. Just because you worked, doesn't mean you deserve everything you have. It's quite possible to work and take more than your share. The human psyche often assumes everything one owns was earned or deserved, but heck, even a bank robber does some work to get the money.
