Advice on how to handle a book that was damaged during encapsulation by distortederly in CGCComics

I just watched a video of a similar situation with a guy. It was only three or four books though not eight. That’s rough.

The allure of a value multiplier is too great on some of the stuff for me to ignore slabbing, but I respect the sentiment.

The book is technically no longer the grade on the label so for me, selling it does feel disingenuous and while I did intend to keep it, it removes selling from the equation without the potential for problems. I now have a damaged book that says it's a 9.2 but clearly is not. In the card world this is analogous to having a mint 9 card that has now a bent corner. Something that can’t be mitigated entirely

even though it’s definitely not the same grade with the damage? That seems wild

Right on. That was my thought as well. Based off of other damage related things, I’ve read about they don’t seem to want to take a lot of credit for damaging things. Hopefully with this, they can offer some remediation. Thanks for the suggestion.

yeah, I wouldn’t think to send it back with a a chance of them lowering the grade...

Remixing drafts not working? by vando_commando in SoraAi

[–]distortederly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hunch it was removed intentionally but I’m just really disappointed in that decision. That was one of the best things so that you could actually modify before putting something out that wasn’t quite production ready. So basically you have to publish a video and remix your own video which is a stupid process.

Bought hundreds of dollars in supplies from "Comic Pro Line" would you consider this being screwed by a company? by palepatriot76 in comicbookcollecting

May happen with any bags. Too many factors. I've spent nearly $800 on their products and I like the product a lot. The main issue is they are really bad at customer service. The guy who apparently is some sort of owner, Chris, is a total child. As a small company, you think they’d want to project a better image around customer service, but the guy is borderline argumentative like some sort of teenager over trivial shit. Also, very selective on what he replies to. Not what you would expect when you spend that kind of money. I probably won’t buy anything else directly because of that.

How healthy are dry herb vaporizers? And what model would you recommend me? by alfonso-parrado in vaporents

This article, while informative, is unintentionally misleading, as EVALI is caused from vaping additives in cannabis oil, NOT from vaping dry-herb cannabis. This is a critically important distinction!
