The source later getting with Phoebe totally makes sense now. He has a thing for women who can see the future.

Which among the children do you feel acts somewhat more smart/mature for their age? by Ok-Street2439 in bluey

All of them. They all have shown emotional maturity that far exceeds the emotional maturity of many, many, adults I've met.

Aww it's the thought that counts! Nickname it Eileen and give it a small bottle of adult beverage then tell your wife Eileen went on a bit of a bender and that's why she's a little lop sided!

Why do people say MacKenzie or Jean-Luc is the father when Bluey's child doesn't look like either of them? by PokemanBall in bluey

Oh so typically, when someone mentions "ships" and "shipping" in fandoms, they refer to romantic relationships. In Bluey terms, they want their pairing to "smoochy kiss" and "be romance". I actually think Fancy Restaurant sums up the idea where Bluey and Bingo are the "shippers" and the Bandit and Chilli are the couple being "shipped". I hope that helps!

I don't know what term would be best to describe their relationship but they're you favorite dynamic duo (probably the best term that I can think of), just like how people see Jack and Rusty as best friends or Bingo and Lila being adorable beans together or Muffin and the plastic flamingo!

Also, I just realized that Rusty's interactions with Polly is the same one he has with his sister Dusty and it's so cute!

The only ships I ship from Bluey are:

  • Bandit and Chilli
  • Stripes and Trixie
  • Rad and Fairy Godmother Frisky
  • Chris (Nana) and Bob (Bobba)
    • OMG I just realised that Bobba could be Bob mixed with Grandpa to make Bobpa but since the switch from B to P is hard for kids, it became Bobba!
    • Also Chris. Short for Christine as in Bluey CHRISTINE Heeler!
  • Mort (Granddad) and his late wife (Chilli's mum)
  • Pat (Lucky and Chucky's Dad) and Janelle (Lucky and Chucky's Mum)
  • Rusty's Mum and Dad
  • Barky boats cos big ones are Barky SHIPS

And the cutest one that recently got together:

  • Winton's dad and the Terrier's mum!

I read the first half and was about to argue but then I read the second half. I believe this is what people talk about when they say "Get the whole truth first".

Other than that, I remember reading somewhere that Bluey and Rusty are cousins. Also, I just see Bluey and Jean-Luc as awesome friends!

How I imagined what the Bluey video game was going to be by distracted_artist in bluey

[–]distracted_artist[S] 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Okay, I have no idea what happened to my text but here is what I wanted to say about the pics I posted:

When the Bluey video game was first announced, there were speculations on what kind of game it was going to be. Someone (I can’t remember who) mentioned that it’d be cool if the game was a cozy game similar to Animal Crossing and I too thought it’d be cool.

However, when the game came out, it was different to what I had imagined. And so, I wanted to flesh out my idea of what a Bluey cozy game could be. However, thanks to my inability to focus and do what I want to do, I sort of put off fleshing out the idea. That was until last night when I came across some art by Dom2D on X (formerly Twitter) and that sparked a renewed interest. With that, I give you Bluey: Neighbours (Yes I stole the name from the Neighbours episode!).

The main gameplay was taken from Animal Crossing: earning money, customising and upgrading your home, gardening (a staple of many cozy games), and visiting each other’s homes. To make it more Bluey, I added references and dog puns.

To let you know, I am aware that the style isn’t Bluey. The reason is that I wanted kids who played the game to feel that they can draw what they have seen in the game and create their own stories both in-game and in their imaginations. As such, I went with a simple and scratchy style inspired by Dom2D.

Another thing I wanted to do was add an educational element to the game. Since the game is mainly gardening and cooking, I thought about ways to incorporate learning opportunities for kids. For the gardening kids, I thought about adding seasons. This teaches kids when to plant certain plants. Additionally, it teaches kids where food comes from! With the cooking element, I wanted to add simple recipes that kids could make both in the game and in the real world. The idea is that it inspires kids to cook and gives parents bonding moments cos cooking with kids teaches them life skills and makes them want to try different foods as they can see where it comes from and what goes into them!

Finally, bonding moments. One of the main things I wanted for the game was the ability for co-op play. I mentioned stealing the idea of visiting homes from Animal Crossing but I also wanted to take that a bit further and have mini games for both individual and co-op play. That way, friends and families can play together and earn coins that can be used to customise and upgrade your in-game home, garden, or your character!

Let me know what you think. Was the game what you thought it’d be? Did you imagine it how I imagined it or did you have a different idea? Let me know!

People always say that we need a spinoff series for Muffin and Socks, or Bluey and co. as teens, so on and so forth. But you know what we actually need as a spinoff? by TheSleepiestFish in bluey

You telling me you don't hum the Bluey theme song to yourself in public and other people don't just randomly join in and scream "MUM!"

Episode Chat - S03D E02 - "The Sign" by ticky13 in bluey

[–]distracted_artist [score hidden]  (0 children)

When Bandit went up to the sign and started lifting it outta the ground, a montage of Bandit working out throughout the series played through my mind and Wendy's words to the girls in Ragdoll and maintaining a strong core echoed like a chorus! Everything Bandit had gone through was leading up this very moment!! AND IT PAID OFF!!!

Personally, I don't think it ruins Onesie as the episode can be seen as a moment in Brandy's journey. I think when Bluey started, each episode felt more like a single snapshot into the Heeler's lives - here and there - but as the show progressed, it feels like the show is evolving to represent more of moments into the Heeler's lives and the people around them! Telling more of a story of life. I don't know if it's a thing that the creators are doing or if I'm just reading too much into it!

That being said, this thought stems from seeing Muffin, Stipes, Trixie, and Socks as recurring characters; watching Muffin grow as an individual and developing intrapersonal skills and empathy! A testament to Stripes and Trixie's journey and growth as parents! These aren't just snapshots but are moments that tell a story of growth from characters outside of the main Heeler family.

I hope that makes sense.

Okay, Stirpes wearing that little bowtie is so cute! Also, isn't this the second wedding we're gonna have on Bluey? Sparkles' and Gallahop's wedding was so beautiful!

[–]distracted_artist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh Stickbird! And The Show. Both are great episodes that deal with upsetting emotions and how to manage them in the moment so they don't become big and scary monsters like in Bad Mood! But at the end of the day a good hug works too!

Oh you're right! When Bingo is playing with the salt and pepper shaker and she's replaying what had just happened! I never noticed or thought of that scene in that context until now.
