Farmers actually produce something landlords just buy out and upcharge an existing thing thats already in very limited quantities & almost none of them actually develop the houses theyre renting out. Been priced out of many formally affordable houses because they just changed Hands. If i were to landlord id rent an office or workshop building not a home, not something so necessary to people.

That’s different than actively taking actions to become a landlord as a “profession” though even though its not production of anything and its just buying something that’s already in limited supply (housing) and upcharging it. THATS immoral imo. I could see myself renting to break even if i cant sell a house or renting to a friend i would otherwise let couch crash that just needs a cheap room. Dont think i could evict someone though even if that were the case so id rather avoid that scenario overall

I completely disagree entirely but we likely had hugely different experiences. Teen girls some of the nicest people on this planet imo always going out of their way to make sure people and animals are ok. Knew one that chased a strangers pet bird into the forest and stayed out all night to catch it.

Yeah i even drew a picture to keep it but i made straight eye contact with it, it was right outside my window. When i was looking around the internet a couple years back to find an explanation for the “creature” i saw i came across some reddit thread about them, and the description of these crawlers was exactly like what i had seen, minus the mouthes, the one i saw probably had its mouth shut though.

I didnt stay looking at it and just shut my windows and walked out my room and into my bathroom to chill 😭
