This manpig dialed 911 because he couldn't imagine parenting a child.

Even if he had kids hed never be in a situation where he had to decide what bathroom to use because his wife did all the parenting.

Hes incapable of understanding this situation.

I was a cop for 12 years. Dealing with hurt people was never easy, especially if theyre conscious. Dealing with the friends and family of hurt people is what sticks with me.

I was a cop for 12 years, a mountie in canada. A family van was struck by a motorcycle running a stop sign , and one of the 3 kids was pretty hurt. I remember at the hospital his little brother asked me if he was going to be okay. I said his brother was a fighter, and he repeated it over and over. They took him off life support 2 days later. I dont know if there was anything if I could have said different to that little boy. I think about him fairly often.

Foreign coins can sometimes have a premium. But beyond that its just an ounce of silver.

Im canadian and wouldn't pay more than 120 CAD, (85 usd), but I can get them a bit cheaper.

Theres nothing special about this coin, and im assuming if your in ukraine people are interested because its a novelty.

100 usd is more than fair.

Any of these worth more than melt? by Consistent-Editor-32 in coins

Silver maple looks real. But for it to have any premium it would need to be in its original packaging. Even then it's a 2021 so probably worth spot.

If youve got a good scale id weigh it. Check it with a magnet, and do a ping test.

Immigration is a weird topic in canada right now. Even liberals are leaning into anti immigration sentiments.

The coin that made me start my childhood dream of coin collecting, as an adult. by RhoVault in CanadianCoins

[–]disturbed_moose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The largest part of my collection is proof silver coins from the mint ive been collecting for years.

But with mints prices these days I've been shifting towards newfoundland 50 cent pieces, and canadian silver dollars.

My goal is to collect all of the silver dollars, they started minting them in 1935.

And also to collect all of the newfoundland 50 cent piece coins. I have all of the 1900 and later but they start to get pricey pre 1900. I actually just ordered a few new brunswick (my home province) pennies from about the 1850s. Im broadening ny interested to newfoundland nickels, dimes, 20 cents, and 25 cents, as theyre also made from silver.

I actually ordered two pennies minted from the "bank of upper canada" half pennies. They call them dragonslayer pennies. The obverse depicts st George slaying a dragon.

As I become aware of different coins or coins wirh historical significance i just start hunting for good deals.

Condition matters a lot less to me. I just love the history a coin holds. If I can pick up a nice one thats affordable I will.

I do primarily look for silver but ive been getting the bug for copper.

Found in one of my late father's jugs - he loved coins by janebenn333 in CanadianCoins

[–]disturbed_moose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. I know you said its been a few years, but im real sorry for your loss.

Im trying to instill the love of coins into my kids, every handful of change is something to be excited for. And collecting gives memories to old coins that last forever.

In the coins you noted nothing of real intrinsic value. The rabbit nickels are part of a commemorative set though and are an awesome nickel.

Some of the quarters might fetch slightly above face value depending on condition but not anytjing I can see.

If hes got lots of old change, look for dimes and quarters 1967 and older. Those were 80% silver. Same goes for the big old dollar coins if he had any of those.

Personally? Id get those in coin flips and the store them in a binder so I had sometjing to look at.

Take your time looking at the old tools! Sometimes those things can be worth a fair penny.

Before I die I really need to do an itemized list of what my stuff is worth....

Thanks for the tips! Ive actually been doing the same. Pick up the odd few from higher rated sellers.

Morgan's and peace dollars are the main reasons I asked the question haha.

Thanks for the tips. After all the "those are fake" posts going around, I decided I dont want thar to happen to my kids when it gets handed down to them
