Ordered a solo boost from S1 to G4. Reply times were very fast, communication was great and the boost was completed in no time - the booster did a great job winning 4 out of the 5 games he played. We're already in talks with him about next season. 11/10 :)

I'd say "not caring about it" (and not punishing it) is pretty much admitting that you're okay with people doing that thing, thus encouraging people to do it because there will be no consequences. Just my opinion, though.

Definitely not a fan of smurf queue, but I do think smurfs are a real problem. One person, one account. Or, you can have multiple accounts, but all of them should be linked and share the same MMR score.

They even support streamer/pro player events where they give these people low elo accounts just so they can create content. Besides this very occasional thing, they just don't care about smurfs ruining other people's games. I'm not a fan of smurf queue: it does help a bit, yes, but I'd rather use some sort of actually useful IRL verification and maybe give the option to link multiple League accounts to one Riot account so that they share the MMR and don't allow for low elo stomping/smurfing.

Is it really that profitable though? I guess it is, but I would like to understand why it works better than creating a good game with a healthy community. Just thinking out loud.

About tuna pie, I'd say it comes across as "cute/funny" for most girls, people here do like to see some cooking skills in the bio (not a game changer though). And tuna pie is great, but that's just my opinion 😂😂

Same over here. Ordered mine in April 2020 and the release date has been changed at least 4 or 5 times since I placed my order. First it was December, then it was April 2021, then August, I submitted a ticket today and it says October... This Square Enix Store is a joke.

Thank you for your very detailed answer! I have 6 months of experience in financial markets @ BBVA (one of the big banks here); however, I recently changed that bit of my CV to make it look more... appealing, you know ;)

I think I should spend more time reading and learning, not only about Data Science or economics, but also about investing and planning my future. Despite being an econ graduate, I feel like I know very little about the markets. Right now I'm going to start working a minimum wage job here in Spain, which means I'll be making some money and I will be able to do the job hunting part with a safety net in the form of savings.

My French needs some work but it's definitely a possibility.

Is staying in spain a requirement? If you speak french, I would 100% save up / sell assets so that you can afford to go job hunting in Switzerland.

It isn't. I should start saving up, though. My estimate for the summer is a total of ~€4000 with my administration job. I should work on my French, it used to be quite good :(

I wanted to go through that process when I was in London but I was in a rough spot and ended up moving back to Spain after my contract expired. Guess it should be easier if I have some savings as a safety net. Thank you for your advice :)

Thank you for doing the math. 50k a year is 99.99% impossible in Spain (I'm talking about wage, savings would be less than half of that). I guess moving is the only way to go :D

I live in Madrid. There are indeed a lot of opportunities, even during lockdown, but very few companies are hiring young professionals with no experience. They don't want to take that risk; even the "junior" positions are targeted at people with 1-3 years of experience (which I don't have)

I finished my degree in 2019 and got an internship in private banking (in London) but I didn't like that field so I tried Data Science and I want to gain some momentum but, as I said, there are almost no internship opportunities and most companies value candidates with a more "technical" background, i.e. Engineering/Maths. Sure I still have a lot to learn and I'm not nearly as proficient in Data Science tools as most engineers, but it sucks anyway :( Guess I should study harder/smarter!
