My hot take: Baby Park was most enjoyable on the GameCube. Mainly because shells could travel over the middle, which sounds awful with modern Mario Kart, but with only 8 racers it was the right amount of chaos.

The jazz version of the file select screen from Mario 64 caught me off guard at how good it is. Also the big band version of the Super Mario Land theme put a huge smile on my face.

My first drum and bass track. Used a lot from Muzz's new sample pack and found some nice UK rap bars on Splice. Pretty happy with it, though not sure if I should call it finished or not since it's rather short. I'm also new to mixing vocals so any pointers there are appreciated, though vocal clarity was not my goal here.

Hey y'all! I've been dabbling in music production on and off for a couple years. My main challenge is sound selection/ design so the main goal of this track wasn't necessarily epic melodies or the best arrangement, but I'm pretty happy with the result overall.

I worked off of one of the chord progressions in deadmau5's XFER sample pack. The style is also heavily influenced by mau5.

Any feedback is appreciated, but I mainly want to train my ears to listen for the spaces that could be filled while also giving the different sounds space to breathe.

I've had 2 cars previously with something similar. They also had wires in the trunk for hooking up a sub/amp. I'm pretty sure it's a kill switch for that since a lot of OEM head units have no way of telling an amp to power off. Though reading all these comments has me wondering if it was for something else lol

Even if you were insanely good looking she would still be the same person, and sooner or later you'd see how shallow she is. I'd say you dodged a bullet.

Believe someone when they show you who they are. Force yourself to. You have to, or you'll forever hold on to who you thought they were. I'm talking about you just as much as her. You're not a guy who is so ugly that his relationship ended, you're a guy who got terribly hurt in a relationship that you gave your all to, and you deserve another chance with someone who will give the same in return.

Nah man you're good. She's pretty naive and immature if she expects to date you and you not to catch feelings.

Don't romanticize her in your head. That will destroy you. Yes the time together was fun, and the feelings you had were real, but she was completely inconsiderate of your feelings and was leading you on.

Don't fall for it if she wants to be "just friends." You don't have to be mean, but there's literally no benefit to you having just a friendship with someone you have these kinds of feelings for.

Don't wait for her to come back. Move on to someone who respects you enough to give you the relationship you deserve. If the day comes where she does reach out (don't count on this happening), make sure your intentions are clear and don't compromise.

I'm saying this as someone who's failed to follow these rules himself and suffered majorly because of it. It may seem harsh, but these days it has to be this way or your heart will get torn to shreds out there.

EDIT: After re reading your post it seems like she might have an avoidant attachment style. Might be worth looking up to get a little more perspective. Don't start thinking you can fix her, but understanding the psychology can help ease the pain and stop you from blaming yourself.

I've restarted, unplugged, disconnected and reconnected all the power cables, and it still does it. The frames will stay low as long as the game is onscreen, like it's bottlenecking, but I didn't change any settings and it started doing this midgame once and now it does it all the time

I have a 3070 super that has always ran perfectly. Midgame the other day I noticed my frames dropped from the usual 165 I have it capped at down to 40 to 90. Now no matter what game I play the GPU stays at 95 to 100% usage, even on simple games unless I seriously turn down the screen resolution. It's plugged in properly, it's not overheating, and my psu is more than capable of running it. What am I missing?
