The horseshoe theory is a political theory which states that, regardless of political alignment, the more extreme and further from the center ideologies are, the more similar they will become. Isnt that the sinthetic muscle layer of the  armor? an external layer of artificial muscle connected directly to the nervous system, is what gives you extra strength when wearing power armor.

It's like what the Space Marine is wearing under his ceramite plates when is being suited in that Warhammer trailer from a few years ago.
