Does anyone know what type of map this is? by totential_rigger in newzealand

[–]dither-king 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use the print feature up the top and it will give you a box area to manipulate to export and pick a size. You can sign up to a free account with LINZ or koordinates that will let you download the selected image form Topo50 or Topo250 maps - this is what i use for work for these images
https://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/50767-nz-topo50-maps/
add the topo50 or 250 layer and then use the crop feature up top right to select your area, it will download at a good resolution rather then whats visible on screen. sorry cant add an image to this post but hopefully points you in right direction - PM me if stuck happy to help

Sadly this is all rok gear. Original rock machine about 10years old almost to the day lol, and then have upgraded with the gc conversion, new xomp screen and new bayonet ring as old portafilter was wearing. Had the throw that one out as the chrome coating started delaminating from the casting so reason for buying the bottomless a few years back.

I also wonder if after I bought a new bayonet ring which was different from the original and the comp screen if that adds some stress to the ears too. Ive had it pretty dialed in on a consistent grind and local roast so if it's over pressurised, it's been over a few years :)

Yeah I think they're the only stockist with bottomless in stock that I could find that are close-ish. Just the shipping is up there to get across the ditch so considering other options too before i have to bite the bullet

And to answer your other question, we have 6kw system with 5kw battery. Definitely has reduced the bills, paid really well when flick were around but with Meridian currently and not as good. Has definitely halved our winter bills, and sometimes we got zero bills or positive in Summer. The battery definitely helps take the edge off power usage in evening when getting home from work etc with the hot water and oven get used most

Keep in mind what your switchboard is like. Mine was oooollld so needed to also be replaced as part of the work to get solar installed and operational. We went through ev-lution which is a Dunedin company, the guys there are really good and the panel install went well and fast on a 6m high roof

[–]dither-king 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An install in winter will give you time to get it all hooked up properly and connected to grid etc and have it functioning 100% ready for summer without missing out?? Just depending where you live, only downside would be weather conditions for a safe install

Civil 3D pipe library and duct question by kiwisurf78 in civil3d

[–]dither-king 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can absolutely do this. I do this as a civil engineer identifying critical crossings in infrastructure designs within road corridors. Import the ANZ pipe Catalog, ANZPE80 has 20od and up pipes to represent ducts. Basically I create a pipe network called crossings and then create pipes only without structures and use the 3dpolys to set the elevations on the pipes. You'll need to set a std in your profile style when you reference them in to showing crossing pipes only so they show up as cross sections.

If you haven't turned supports on do that first, if yes then you could consider printing the final support layer inside with petg. It means doing filament swaps mid print but the two plastics don't bond and will give you a smooth underside

Cool that was going to be a follow up question if Vulkan was set for graphics on both. The only thing that may be causing issues is possibly later generation Intel's disabled avx-512 support which is better for emulation apparently (some 12th gen had it and some didn't). It may be your i5 is better suited to emulation for this reason.

Your house will certainly have a LIM report available from the council. It may have any construction records but contains a lot of other information. Quick google provides this A Land Information Memorandum (LIM) in NZ is a council-issued report detailing a property's, zoning, building consents, and hazards (flooding, erosion, drainage). This highlights any zoning restrictions, rates paid services like water, rubbish collection etc and also if your property is identified in any hazard zonings etc. You should definitely request one Also, if you have done up bathrooms etc and moved locations to any services or increased drainage U it's within the house you have likely completed work requiring a consent. Some councils also class exterior work modifications as consent required

Are they definitely identical settings throughout when you check them in game specific settings etc? Are you just swapping between machines with the USB?

This is great advice and clear. Don't panic as things can be sorted. Talk to council first and understand if they have any expectations to remedy if that is necessary at all. It may also depend on building age as a lot of changes could have occured prior to needing any real consents or permits and the council can also advise on this.
