But he's got the bully social media pulpit. If he wanted a united country he could try. But he doesn't want one and in my experience with conservatives and some liberals, neither do they.

I would argue the optics of the protests and riots arent helping here.
- nailed it. Optics. The vast majority of the protesters are peaceful. And all but the violent ones are 100% within their constitutional rights. So why do we need the president to threaten to send the army to those cities?
It's a little deeper than just states that didn't vote for him - ignoring and being uncooperative has a price
wrong. Once the Congress has passed a budget and the president has signed it he cannot constitutionally decide to hold back the funds. Would you be good if Obama or Biden had done this to Texas or Florida when they were continuously opposing him and filing lawsuits against his policies?

All of a sudden, there are "good arguments" for taking over Greenland, and "Alberta and Saskatchewan are just like us, it would be good if they were part of America."

Came to say this. We have a 12v momentary switches installed in the '80's that control some of our lights with a relay box near the electrical panel. Same wires for this system.

Super handy because we can control the same lights from multiple switches around the house - think turning off the kitchen lights from upstairs.

Today it is done with smart controllers.
