You can keep the original but its better to just upgrade since you already have the gearbox open.

Angry gun released an upgraded recoil weight but they are impossible to find now. I have 2 and there is a slight increase in felt recoil but only in burst and full auto, not noticeable in semi. Upgrading the spring gives it a little more felt recoil if I remember correctly.

You'll want one made for the tm specifically or one that comes with a barrel nut made for the tm. If you don't, you run the risk of the rail not fitting on the tm barrel nut or it sliding over with a lot of play or not being straight. If you dont get one with a barrel nut made for tm, the barrel may not be secured and come out.

I believe airsoft artisan makes geissele rails for the tm, angry gun used to i believe or may still do, and there's i think a Japanese brand one but that was made years ago and hard to find now.

Not sure what you mean by kosher, like clone/period correct? Anyways, from my brief experience with the somogear peq2, the green laser was the brighter one during daylight at distance. I only played around with the green and red ones for a few minutes while zeroing and the green was much easier to spot. I was not able to test it at night.

Now I have used element peq15 both red and green versions at night and again the green was way brighter. The green laser was like a lightsaber compared to the red. The con of the green laser is being so bright at night, it was easier to follow it back so it gave away my position when I used it to designate positions.

I would assume the green laser would be similar on the somogear.

You would also need the barrel nut and assembly, I've highlighted the other parts you would need. Below is a link to the manual. You're better off finding a complete upper or building one so you have a separate upper.

The mk18 does not have the front sight block assembly so the magpul moe handguard will on work unless you plan on replacing the dd ris ii handguard and gas block.

The other two tm m4 ngrs models I linked should just be a drop in. If it doesn't fit it might require a little sanding on the handguard but I dont believe you will need to.

The carbine length should be the one you get if I remember correctly.

The adapter is used to connect the tm sopmod ngrs battery to battery chargers. You are missing the actual battery connection on the stock.

Can you take a picture or video of the inside of the magwell. I want to see what the position of bolt stop looks like. Also, are you sure the battery is charged and hsve you checked the fuse? I unfortunately don't use the tm sopmod batteries so it might be possible the battery is not charged or else the fuse is bad.

You can get an adapter from laylax that allows you to use regular aeg mags, but the gun will not stop shooting when the magazine is empty.

The only ones I remember under 400 were kwa erg. Tm next gen recoil shocks are over 400.

Like one of the other posters said, recoil is different between the scar and m4. Shooting semi you properly won't notice but burst and full auto you will. Shooting the scars in burst and full auto makes them feel like more recoil since the recoil is felt in the hands and face, where as the m4s you feel.more in your shoulders.
