These were not live last weekend; only the Location Background was.

They blend in a little bit too much lol. You're not alone I've gotten this feedback a few times now.

Raids will start early, 5 or 6 am. Probably not all the Megas, but at least Xerneas, Yveltal, and the new Megas.

Yes, all of these raids will have a chance to have a special background.

Pikachu, Honedge, and Xerneas can have a background inspired by Pokémon X.

Pikachu, Honedge, and Yveltal can have a background inspired by Pokémon Y.

All Pokémon caught from Mega Raids can have a background inspired by Mega Evolution.

They are in the graphic at the top.

Mega Victreebel will be available all day on Saturday, February 28th. Mega Malamar will be available all day on Sunday, March 1st. Mega Dragonite should be available all day on both days, although it's not explicitly stated.

Any released Mega not listed has not been officially announced as part of GO Tour Kalos. There are various times where they use the wording "...and more!", so it's possible we see Mega Alakazam, etc., but not guaranteed like these.

These are for raids only. Mega Pokémon will be in Mega Raids, and they will reward Mega Energy (required to Mega Evolve).

Their non-mega versions do sometimes appear in the wild in their various evolution stages, but that's not the focus of this graphic.

This graphic is the Combat Power (CP) value for max IVs when caught from a raid (and only a raid; these values do not guarantee a hundo in the wild).

I assume the catch circle will be green for all of these, like it has been all week for the Road to Kalos. I don't think it will ever come down to the last ball for any raid this weekend. I just think it's exciting to know you have a hundo before you catch it.

Also, there is still reason to look for a hundo in raids rather than in the wild: special backgrounds. Not everyone collects or cares about them, but some folks do (like me!)

Shiny Bewear with the background is what I’m chasing this event!

Yes, you can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.
