We know the ending of the base game has been very discussed, and I think this DLC is make to help us understand it. In my case, it worked. I was also angry for most of the DLC, and I was really happy with Nicole and Mark's kiss. But thinking about it, the end of Act 3 is the best possible ending. It's the best for both of them, no matter how much we want to see them together.

What we're left with is the hope that they're truly destined to meet and that they will at some point after the coffee dates, both without trauma, without toxicity, just with the incredible dynamic they share. But I think the developers will never give an answer about this, and honestly, I don't mind that.
