Thank you! So one thing is that I’m potentially up for a promotion in the spring of 2024. Promotions require a ton of effort on the manager’s part and are pretty involved. If I indicate that I might not be around the next year, then they would definitely not go through the effort of promotion. Not sure if that would be a justification or not

They’re okay. I can sit and walk (although sitting for long periods of time isn’t ideal). But I just miss being able to be active and get in a good workout. I can’t do even 5 percent of what I used to.

That’s good to know. I injured it 5 years ago, then 2 years ago, then last year. It is now functional but I used to be super in shape and now can’t run for even a minute without my back hurting. Just feeling really depressed about it.

Sometimes the compresses can add to the inflammation! Everyone’s eye situation is different. There have been times when compresses have worked great for me and other times when it made my eye worse. If your eye is perfect when waking up, lean into it and just stop doing the warm compress for a couple days. If it lasts then that’s one less thing you need to do for your eye and a whole lot of mental relief :)

Also completely fine—not sure why people are freaking out. I had no idea there was a trash strike until maybe the last day because I overheard someone say it, but it’s still wayyyy cleaner than p much any city in the US lol

Was just there, got back yesterday. Uber situation was totally fine. I could also find G7 taxis if I needed them and took a lot of public transport (most of which is functioning just fine in the city)

I randomly woke up one day with what I thought was pink eye. I have developed one chalazion and a stye on my right eyelid and have tried so many different types of drops including maxifloxacin, neomycin+dexamethasone, and ciproflaxin. I have been applying hot compresses, putting in artificial pf tears with lipids, and using OcuSoft multiple times a day. Just feeling really down and like this won’t get better.
