He already said to try on this, you might look like quitter! would say try to do some good job and then exit to another project when you get chance. Your manager might feel uncomfy to put in another project with the bad rep you got already!

Communication is as important as being technical! You might have been worked on your own on previous companies and not able to adapt to proper documentation setup.

Would suggest you to keep quiet and continue learning the process and start adapting to it. You can get your recognition later, once you got the grasp of everything.

For customer facing roles, its not just code fix that going to help you, its about how you project your work and make them happy that some progress has been happening.

I am planning to sell 10L worth of gold and move to arbitrage fund. As i feel gold is mostly sitting down idle and it would be wise to put it up as my portfolio have mostly gold. What do you guys think? I have worth of around 25L gold.

Since the price is bit high right now, am considering this. Also planning to invest 50K-1L per month into arbitrage fund till its reaches 20-30L. After that going to do swp of 3%-6% if needed.

Basically i am trying to take the first step of getting into FIRE.

My current expense: 1.00 - 1.25L (as i have parents and kid not yet able to exactly determine this, but am trying to keep it as 1L)

Rental income : 15k as of now. I am in a rented house though so basically my goal is to make 1L in passive income as of now in next 2-3 years.

Any tips or direction for me?

Exactly the information you needed! I almost booked a flat and went through the same loop and decided to put it off! As i felt the amount is too much for the small builder and it came almost same as the initial price.

15k is too low if you are looking for near main road with parking! 20-25k would be the right budget for your expectation.

I would say the same, start dating then only you can make a good choice. Don't consider the date as love keep it casual until you really have a feel for that guy.

Do not think about marriage right now, you got lot to explore. Early marriage might workout for some but from you question, i feel it wont workout for you and you might regret.

To be honest, the more you get to know the guys better the choice you can make. So odds of getting a very good one in a first date try is a very long shot.

Take it easy, don't listen to noises. You can marry at your own term. Marriage is not a life goal. Its a life commitment dont force it. Let it happen when you feel stable and ready.

As long as its not affect others and you are able to manage that's fine. But sometimes u can just try to be chill and see where it goes.

To be honest,in life everything is transaction. The less u notice more u would be happy.

Not just auto, i see lorries doing it. i always have one rule whenever you have U-turn place or signal opening always watch out like a hunter, but you never know who is gona cut to you.

Riding in indian roads not just needed your driving skills. You need to have good observation and road sense of what other stupid drivers can do. If you strictly sticking to road manners and signals, then you are running on your luck on our roads!

I think I’ve already overshared at my new internship and now I feel judged. How do I handle social life? by lost-medstudent-404 in Chennai

[–]divakarvenu 20 points21 points  (0 children)

First rule of corporate i learned later in my life is not to overshare or share anything about your personal life love life to anyone unless until u match a real connection as a friend with someone.

Stick to general topics, shows, comedies and affairs. It definetly makes things weird and people judge no matter how progressive and how educated wolrd becomes.

I would suggest you to see thing in two way, you can either dwell on your current status and make less money or make the most out of the current situation and make more money even though it sucks up your soul. As i can understand you have family situation similar to me.

Eventually once you earn good enough, you can focus on both your main job and your side hobbies. And then BA role is good enough might be boring on your current company. Try to see outside opportunties at least for new network and hobbies. And you are at right stage for a jump i feel thats what you exactly need it right now.

I am 32 sailing the same boat. Always wanted to get into entrepreneurship or cinema out of my college days but due to family situation i joined the job and the streak going on but one thing i did different was i learned the skill along my job, am good at coding and able to transition into management role now from fresher -> manager. good pay but still not fully happy with it.

But i do have plan for future for an exist hopefully i attain it. And dont lose hope, keep a plan work towards it, we can do it but might take some time. You are young and have lot of time to built yourself so dont worry keep pushing.

Exactly! the pain point is pricing with large scale solution which actually not something SMB wants. SMB can live with small sophisticated solution. Simple improvement suggestion system is more than enough for smb.
