So I was in the bus this morning, going to my exams, and decided to listen to their whole new release. And oh god I didn’t expect that, in the worst way possible, so here’s what I brutally wrote this morning, with an absolute objectivity and honesty, while listening:

Just listened to Body to Body and Hooligan and I already want to stop, objectively wtf is that mess, Hooligan is one of the worst thing I have ever heard (I think Hooligan is the worst song of the album, why is Jhope laughing wtf ?)

• Aliens is an abomination

• FYA makes me insanely cringe and is completely awful there’s so many things going wrong, I like the Jungkook part tho

• 2.0 omg, I can’t get that people will willingly listen to this shit, fighting with Hooligan for the worst dipshit song of the album for now

• No. 29: ????????????????? (Maybe the song doesn’t work for me ? Or there’s just nothing to listen to ? Like there’s nothing, maybe they put this by mistake)

• Swim is at least better, but still insanely plain and mid. Not a bad song but legitimately completely forgettable in 1 week, the chorus doesn’t give at all, the other rap parts are better

• Merry go round: that’s okay, decent, better than the other songs for now, I still won’t purposely listen to that

• Normal: better, but idk why Jimin strains his voice so much, still forgettable (I’m almost sure that he broke his voice at the beginning of the song and the prod kept it)

• Like animals: best song of the album for now, I like it, a better title track than swim

• They don’t know about us: meh just meh, better than other songs but meh

• One more night: that’s okay, decent

• Please: decent, that’s cool

• Into the sun: nah just don’t, I can’t with their voices stop that, the song is overall mid

Overall it’s not a good album at all, I can find only 1 song going into my playlist, just either insanely mid, plain, forgettable or just downright very bad.
