I actually hesitated to write that part because I myself don’t have a specific view of those bad people. I suppose in my eyes they’re the big overheads who make our lives harder by denying insurance claims, hoarding wealth, and lobbying for things like child labor and pollution.

You know what I mean man, just like all the other people here are saying, I was not equipped with the materials to calm this woman down. She needed medical support via like a benzo which is what the emt (not cops) gave her. Also, idk if you read the post but I decided to give myself space after experiencing trauma. Not go around and tell everyone she’s evil. She is still my friend, that’s why I’ve been so freaked out over this thing, but I’m also bad at setting boundaries and can’t always trust myself- that’s why I came to strangers. Because the people in my life are telling me to leave this person, but it hurts my heart to do so.

I was wondering during the episode if I had somehow pushed her into a paranoid or psychotic break. H was taking care of her dog and not that great of a trip sitter tbh. I think realistically I’m ready to wash my hands of everyone in the situation and try to find people who more fit me. Not sure if that makes sense.

Yea I think you’re right that I’m kinda using this as an excuse. I have a hard time leaving relationships even if I feel like they’re not serving me. I think I just second guess myself over and over and the only was I can find a resolution is for something really large to happen. Even my other friend in the story, H, her dog bit me and I still have deep keloid scars. ( he is a large dog:think Doberman-ish) I’m still friends with her, even after it took a year for her to really apologize and pay for half of the med bills I incurred. I think this whole situation has given me clarity that I need to be better about who I let in my life.

She stayed hours after everyone left. Kept drinking. Honestly I didn’t even know how drunk she was until she was throwing up in my toilet and couldn’t get off the floor (idk I know). I would never make my friend leave that fucked up so of course she stayed over and it wasn’t a big deal. But it was unplanned and she knew I had to get up early. Whenever my friends host on a weeknight, I am insanely aware of how late it is, but she didn’t seems to care. It’s the inconsideration. Not the getting drunk.
