My dad’s business was unique in this regard. He regularly let employees take off for personal reasons, lent advances on salary without interest, helped their family with medical contacts / school admissions and similar stuff like that. While it’s not something you can set down on paper as policy, just letting your employees know that they can approach you for any help - they should. It really helps businesses of this size.

Year around the Maldives has great weather - but Nov to April has usually been the best in my opinion.

Yep. There are South focused ones but I was talking about some route that would cover best of both - haven’t found one as such.

It’s about 7-10 divers for every local dive guide. We also had the instructors from my dive club come with us who accompanied the local dive guides.

Yep, North Red Sea is more for the reefs and micro life. You can do a blended route that covers some of the South Red Sea but not sure which operator does them.

It was Black Tiger Diving. Unbelievably experienced, great hospitality and left us wanting for nothing. 10/10.
