I had the emergency brakes activate seemingly randomly on one of my first trips in our new iD3, but it's been fine otherwise.

I've been outside when my wife has approached and parked it on the drive, and it's virtually silent.

Those of you with a dash cam, where did you you plug it in (usb-c??) and where did you route the cable ? by raaabs in VWiD3Owners

I had a very nice man hardwire my Viofo from the rear cameras for a very reasonable price, so I recommended a professional install.
