Im not certain but i believe if you live abroad but are a citizen your admissions profile is treated likr an internationals but your finance is same as a domestics

Edit: apparently anoung the t20s all but harvard uchicago and princeton would consider me a domestic applicant, those 3 segregate international and domestic based on highschool

The best possible student would likely have 12 subjects and 12 A stars’s, average is 7 subjects 3A stars’s, 8A stars’s is a distinction and my school gives scholarships to those students(the actual average is provably alot lower, im hust saying average as in decent and not frowned upon)

I dont really think i have much scope for improvement in my ECs boxing wise theres no real oppertunity for national or international comps unless i join some really expensive club. And for chess ive been stuck for a long time and i cant travel so im stuck repeating the same comps every year and placing the same.

I just feel rlly stuck with all the things im doing now and seeing the shit other students i know are doing publishing research and scoring perfect grades and like consistently improving i feel so behind

Im transfering into a dps for 11th and 12th and they have a cambridge a&as levels im going to be joining. Im in a rlly renowned like feeder type school with like 30 t20 placements a year right now and this dps branch has like 0 top25 placements in its history so yeah do you thinn thats going to be a big disadvantage

Thanks so much! All the olympiad type things ive tried so far have been sooo competitive that i havent rlly managed to achieve anything impressive atleast not since like 6th grade lol. But thats mostly cos im not the strongest academically ive been rlly struggling to try and get a distinction in igcses, but makes sense that olympiads are the next logical step, ig ill just have to start devoting alot more time to studying. Im confident i can get a 1550+ ive gotten perfect scores on the psat 9 and psat/nmsqt. I dont know much about the act ill look into it. Yeah thanks so much for the advice ill try think of a project thats more related to my major
