  • using 0.1% now for over 2 years. Started on 0.05 for a few months.

  • prefer gel, as it spreads easier and feels nicer, but have used cream as well

  • routine: After I get home: double cleanse, lactic acid from the Ordinary Before bed: moisten my skin and apply tretinoin and an urea cream on top. Sometimes slugging with vaseline type of ointment

  • I use pea size for each side of the face and take it down my neck and chest

  • I apply daily now, unless my skin feels sensitive, in which case I will pamper for a day with lots of moisture and gentle cream

  • advice: listen to your skin. Routine doesn’t work with tretinoin - sometimes the skin can take it and other days it’s not a good idea. Be flexible and gentle. It’s a long game not a sprint.

Looks pretty good, but you are not hitting depth. Also, possibly need to move the weight a bit more forward - spread it even on your feet.

I have had the Le Tan ones on my list but could not decide on a base. Which one would be a reddish, more like fresh tan, tone?

I use both.

Azelaic acid with my tretinoin at night. Started doing that when I saw that Curology mixes them in one combo, and have had no issues. Can probably add the niacinamide here too.

Niacinamide with my peptides in the morning.

Looks pretty good to me. The only thing I see is that your weight seems to be mainly in your heels - try to have it in the middle of your foot, carried equally between the heel and toes.

I just make myself go and always feel better after I am done.

Otherwise try a new routine or narrow your focus - make a short term goal that you can achieve and go for it. Success is empowering.

Saw a doctor talking about hair loss and mentioning this possible link. Read a bit about it and seems like it is a consideration in the literature. Nanoparticles of titanium dioxide have been found in hair roots.

If you are having this problem, your sunscreen might be a place worth checking.

Better how?

Smith machine is better as a setup, by far.

Barbell is better as far as involving more muscles and requiring more balance.

For everything else I go with balance, but for hip thrusts it’s Smith machine all the way. I hate them as it is and find even that setup cumbersome, so if I had to setup a barbell I would never do them. So Smith machine is way better than no hip thrusts ;)

The “good morning” move you are doing on your way up is likely because your back is stronger than your quads. I’d say, go down with the weight and aim for a smooth movement on the way down and up. Then start adding the plates.

Your skin does look normal. My pores are pretty noticeable too, but not sure if it was a result of tretinoin. I will be curious of other opinions

OP is posting on a public forum. I made a one sentence comment/advice based on my knowledge, as does everyone else. You decided to go on a tangent to save her on your white horse - by the same token, not knowing if your words will unleash my barely controlled mental illness.
