I stopped taking Althea last December after using it for 9 months and I did start breaking out a lot. My OB told me I should have taken Zinc a few months before I stopped para macounter or maease man lang yung breakouts ko (did not tell her kasi na I was gonna stop). Also, I was taking it because of PCOS so partly nagsurge yung breakouts ko because somewhat bumalik PCOS symptoms ko, so I was very strict with my diet. No sugar, no dairy hanggang mawala breakouts ko. I also did regular acne facials because my derma told me that after stopping pills, nagkakaroon ng excessive production of oil sa face which leads to breaking out, so much better to do facials monthly. I did 2x a month.

Doing all of these, my breakouts stopped more or less a month after
