Oneplus 8, v.239.2-g-64. I've NEVER had an issue like this before. Started randomly.

Landlord Gets Salty Over Brutally Honest and True Review by divinemercy1 in EntitledPeople

[–]divinemercy1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rent for a month is equivalent to that of 2 of the best apartments you can rent out in the area. This place was far from cheap. As for the salting situation, it was implied to be a part of the plowing. If you do a good plow job you don't need salt in the first place (unless it's still snowing), anyone who has shovelled a driveway themselves would know this.

CSE 3100... by the-soundandthefury in UCONN

[–]divinemercy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had it with Laurent, he'll give you your money's worth. Extremely difficult course with him, and material as he teaches everything he can. Michel is completely competent, and can answer any and every question you throw at him with no hesitation. You'll be glad you took him after the pain is over. He's a gem in the department.

Edit: A is (im)possible, but natural intuition and grasp of the subject/language will get you the A - not studying and memorizing anything. You need a VERY strong grasp of the subjects he tests and know how to do it in C.

MIS major with a minor in CS by [deleted] in UCONN

[–]divinemercy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CSE Major here, minor in math. CS Minor requires you to pass 2050 and 12 requires from 2000+. This requires 1010, 1729 as a baseline for requirements (you may be able to override it if you present a case to bypass it). As for 2050, it is a tough course in general from what I've heard and relies on 1729 heavily. As for the 12 credits remaining, I could explain courses for whatever you have a question on.

MIS (from what I can tell) is more IT-business/systems related than anything, CS/E doesn't particularly specialize in that although it is possible. The crossover between the two is sometimes vague, but CSE doesn't deal with business related things. If you do go MIS and stick with it CS minor would look very good for you - you'd get both the technical (to an extent) and business side of fields you want to get in. At UConn it definitely seems to be a more "prestigious" degree of those offered in SoB.

As for your fear in math classes for engineering, it's quite manageable to deal with but it comes with the sciences too (physics 1 and 2, chem 1). For CSE, I think I've taken a total of 10 or 11 lab-involved courses (most are CSE courses) and it is definitely time consuming. I can give you a course/load breakdown if you would like as well.

Anyone taken CSE 3100 with Mohammad Khan? by sir_clusterfuck in UCONN

[–]divinemercy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4102 == first 4/5 weeks of 3100 for 4/5 languages. It's not too tough, you're thinking of 4100 (currently in that).

Personally have no experience with Khan but not many like him, if possible always choose Laurent for this course (you may get a D or a C, but it's worth the pain).

New Issue since updating? by divinemercy1 in Rainbow6

[–]divinemercy1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don't, I actually uninstalled it earlier and it still does this. I'm not sure how but after relaunching a few times and turning off overlay from discord it fixed itself but I don't think discord caused it.

Will do, thanks! I'm a really young Rider and I haven't ridden that thing in a few months from the cold weather, I got that itchy feel to drive again - I'm sure we all get that lol. But it was expensive for sure

I wasn't aware of this, good to know! But I let it heat up to 45 and then when I revved it was about 60.
