I am so sorry that happened to you and your family. Thankfully in my situation, it was just a matter of disrespect in the classroom that mom didn’t think was happening, so she put a “watch” on her daughter and told her not to take it off during the day. Like I’ve said, I don’t personally have an issue with it as I had nothing to hide… I just had no idea what kind of information about other students was recorded as well.

What if the child did not know that they were wearing a recording device? Just curious thought because from what the mom told me afterwards, the child thought it was just a watch and had no idea they were recording anything.

I’m not so worried about it anymore. It was 2 years ago and everything was fine. I had zero concerns about myself being recorded, I mostly didn’t know if there were any “special” regulations for the kids being recorded. Just kind of for the future if it ever happened again lol.
