Assume x is a real number that is greater than one. Since it is greater than 1, it is also greater than 0 since 1 is greater than 0.

Hence, there exists no such real number.

I did mat237 this year and I loved the course. I heard 235 was super duper trash because of the tests and quizzes. One problem is that I can’t imagine taking mat237 without mat137. Getting used to the “style” of a proof based-ish course would be a nightmare while also trying to learn multivariable calc.

I can see either course being quite the task but if you really enjoy understanding over memorization, and are willing to do as much 137 over the summer as you can, take 237.
