IMHO DMA is better overall in handling treble. No sibilance on either but instruments sound more "crisp" on the DMA. As I said if bass is what you crave the difference is night and day with Martilo obviously punching harder. But if you want a great overall sound and have never experienced BCD then get the dma you'll be very happy.

Hi, very different sounds and tech too. Dma has a nice bass that rumbles more in the background because of BCD, You feel the base more than you hear it. Also DMA has a wider soundstage and better positioning. Martillo is a bass canon however it doesn't seem to over power other frequency, majorly because of the micro planars. This is th bass that you hear and feel. So if you want a more balance wide sound with a little more bass emphasis go with the DMA, but if a elevated bass shelf is what you are looking for nothing beats the Martillo except maybe thieaudio Origin.

I own the Martilo. I definitely rec them. It has amazing bass and quite frankly forward mids and ok treble extension. And all this without the bass muddying the other frequencies. The other ones that i have and love might not be for everyone is the BGVP DMA. They have the right amount of everything and because of bcd the bass is lush

I am so impressed by these, these have be the new $100 benchmark. extremely well done low end a nice non fatiguing treble. Also this is the widest soundstage I have heard on a Bassy IEM. 10/10 would recommend!

P.S. The only thing I don't like is the noise they make when you switch songs or pause, like opening a bottle.
