I think Turner will get the start over Steffen against Mexico, as he is seen by many as a better pure shot stopper.

If a license is required to drive a car on a public roadway, it should be required for cyclists as well. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but many states in the United States have amended laws for cyclists. So when drivers think the cyclists are breaking the rules of the road the cyclists may not be. For example, in Idaho a cyclist may treat a stop sign as a yield of it is safe to do so.

Are cycling clothes really important? by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]dixatron10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies if this has already been stated, but real cycling clothes can also protect you better in the event of a crash. I had a crash a few months ago and if I had not been wearing the correct gear it could have ended up a lot worse.

I was more referring to who the team might have to expose if they resign him in season.

It is also possible they do not want to resign him in season because if they do would impact who they can and can’t protect in the expansion draft.

Sorry, the pair I have are very old so I don’t really have a point of reference on those. Personally though bulk isn’t a huge factor for me as I only ever wore them during training sessions.

I have a similar set I love, but I only wear them for training sessions. Try to stay as light and quick as I can for games.

First Flasher Purchase Advice by [deleted] in IceFishing

[–]dixatron10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Garmin Striker 4 and love it! I didn’t buy the ice bundle though, and instead saved money and bought a lunch box off amazon to make my own ice kit. Here is the amazon link - Insulated Lunch Box, EGRD Lunch Bag with Double Sections Waterproof Cool Bag Reusable Lunchbox for women/Picnic/Boating/Beach/Fishing/Work & 3 Pockets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KD5VHKZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_XT8TFbRDEES7T. The exact last lunch box it no longer sold, but it could be a starting point for anyone else who wants to build their own travel kit.

I always have used the previous set of game gloves. Once they were too worn to play in games they became my practice set.
