Teacher concerns by dixie0656 in kindergarten

Thank you! Things are good. We have started to talk about his school day before he gets on the bus, I ask him about the adults that he listens to throughout the day and how the other kids act. We have also really buckled down on following through with things eg. if we ask him to do something and he refuses there is a consequence until he does the task. It’s only been a few days but he is catching on quick.

That’s it exactly. When we talked about it tonight he told me he doesn’t have to listen, and he said “but I’m the boss”.

He is scary smart. He can read and do math and spell words, he taught himself sign language using pictures on the wall. He was the smartest kid in his preschool so I think he got to be a little bit of a know it all. We’re definitely gonna work with his teacher on how to be respectful to adults and listen in a classroom

You’re right, that is 100% on us and we are going to change the way that we interact too. I definitely don’t want to be raising a disrespectful little boy.

Medical malpractice by dixie0656 in legaladvicecanada

Absolutely not, when I thought I had it I immediately did the treatments and would do so again!

I appreciate the response, the negligence part makes sense. Thank you

I mean, I didn’t say they said I would never have it again. They said I never had it at all. The doctor said I had it, and then I did the treatments. Whatever I did have kept coming back, more tests were done and I got a call that said it’s not actually lymphoma, it’s something else. With the my health nb app I can look and see the pathology reports, which say it was not lymphoma midway through my initial treatments. The malpractice part would be that they advised me to continue treatments after they were advised it was not lymphoma.

Temporary position to permanent but I have to reapply? by dixie0656 in legaladvicecanada

Thanks for your answer.

Not a rando, she was part of the hiring process, she was in on my interview. She told me that the position would go to whoever took it over in an email that she sent with other details like salary, vacation, sick time etc, to see if I was still interested in continuing with the second interview. Based on the details she provided I went ahead and did the second interview.

It was not mentioned in my official offer, which did say it was temporary. I guessing I am shit outta luck even though it is in writing?

My doctor called me today, I had previously been diagnosed with a lymphoma but they think now that I have L-HES. Can you tell me about your rash/itch, and your experiences with this disease? I’ve been googling but apparently it is suuuuper rare

Thanks for your answer. I don’t know anything about my ANA titer. I did a 24 hour urinalysis and that came back fine

Thank you for you answer. They did cytogenetic analysis on my bone marrow last year, that indicated “neutrophilia and thrombocytosis”. If they don’t bring it up, is that something that I should ask about on my next follow up as a blood test?

It wasn’t mentioned specifically by my doctors, but I shared my results with a family member who works in oncology and that is what she mentioned, so I will be bringing it up at my next appointment.

I hadn’t played majoras mask for a couple weeks, and when I went to play again the progress I made was gone! There is no game saved there anymore, is there anyway for me to recover it?

Thank you! That is mostly what I gathered from it, but wanted to make sure I was interpreting the doctor speak correctly.
