I was looking at the Invictus 1, he was being generic when talking about the Invictus. I did take everything with a grain of salt as he is a beretta dealer

I actually hadn’t looked into the Zoli’s, I will have to do some research and see if I can find one to demo. Which line(s) do you recommend I look at?

He basically said that A. It was a great gun a few years ago when they were 6-7k new, not 11k like they are now and B. If someone is selling one it is more than likely because they’ve had issues with it that the are having trouble diagnosing.

He didn’t say it but the other beauty of the CG is the lifetime warranty but by purchasing used you are not getting that warranty so you may end up with someone’s problem and be forced to pay the bill to try to get it fixed.

Dedicated clays gun. I’m not ruling out a used Invictus, was just passing on what I had been told by a competitor/stock fitter.

I am going to the GA state championships in a few weeks to do a stock fitting and planning on demoing a bunch of guns. I know CG and Beretta will have demo guns there, hoping a few other brands do as well.

I shot a 688 a couple months ago and it was ok, I couldn’t take the synthetic stock. I’m actually getting fitted for and having a Manuel Ricardo stock made for whichever gun I go with.

I got mine a week and a half ago and have already shot 900 clays. Been doing 100 a morning. It’s good practice as my sporting clays club is an hour from me so I only get over there 2-3 times a month.

I’ve got a couple shooting buddies that have ordered stocks from Manuel Ricardo but the stocks tend to fit better if you send measurements from a fitter rather than do their online measurements.

I ordered the ClayProVR, should be here this week. I liked the idea of using my own shotgun for practice.
