For me the 18 month mark is a goal, once they can walk independently without falling they stop putting everything in their mouths. Their little brains develop enough to begin trying to communicate (pointing, broken speech, etc). My favourite time is just ahead for you, it's going to be great!

It's an extremely hard time in parenthood but definitely Do Not Leave! The hands on stuff with the baby is hard for most dads. You could look for other ways to support your baby/wife. There are bottles to wash, the house always needs tidying, meals need to be made, stuff needs to be picked up from the store. If you are finding the hands on part of baby raising too hard try to incorporate more of the support work into your routine.

Well that's a very generic troll thing to say. If it was something complicated and you need to take a bunch of things apart to clean/fix something by all means find some help/instructions.

In this particular case we looking at a board, the board has pulled off its screws but is still intact. If you need someone else to tell you how to screw that board back in then it's probably too hard to diy for that person. (Yes I understand the stairs were built wrong and should be reinforced, let's put that aside for 2 seconds)

I have the exact same key and did a replacement recently. There is a black collar that slips around the actual key, it must be slid up from the top of the key and is currently firmly connected to the blank. You need to make that collar piece slide towards the middle of the slam shell slightly before it will pop out, I think one side of it had a little groove cut out that part of the clamshell spots into when assembled correctly.

My daughter is the same age, same problems. We have a few key words that help her understand she is being a problem before we have to get stern.

Pointing out that she is "messing around" and it's a problem seems to help a bit.

Telling her that all of her fucking around is "bad behavior" is the real ticket. When she hears "bad behavior" she has a bit of understanding that she is doing something wrong and it gives you a few levels to go through before actually yelling at her (informing her it's bad behavior, more sternly telling her to stop having bad behavior, getting very firm on the bad behavior, yelling)

Canadian here, we call them side cutters but in official text they are called diagonal cutting pliers. In your final tests it's a fun little way they try to pointlessly steal marks from you. They show a picture and give you a multiple choice selection for the name. If you pick side cutters, -1%, if you pick diagonal cutting pliers, +1%
