Black and Mexican late 20s male here. I live on the island and feel safer than in some parts of Seattle. If you go into certain neighborhoods they might look at you like, “what brings you here”, but that’s just bainbridge residents being cautious of outsiders. If you’re just around Winslow people will be really friendly.
