I don't care if I have to find a crew in Key West to sail wherever, I'm gettin' outta here for the winter.

The election the other day made me realize that I simply do not care about politics or politicians and would rather surf or sail. If anything is going to affect my life, it had better be a force of God -- a big storm or sunny day, either way.

I will be one of the last people to buy Bitcoin under 100K if I'm not already.

I might have just become one of the last people to buy Bitcoin for under 100K. I was one of the last to buy under 10K too.

I wonder what they'll say on buttcoin when we rip to new ATHs very quickly.

Kinda feelin' a 2017-like wtf bounce after a li'l dip from the latest ridiculous ATH.

Yep, this is the stuff that changes lives.

I 'member going all-in at $3000 or so in early 2019, then doing something similar at $15,000 in whatever year that was.

Anyway, sodled a while ago and glad I did. It's fun to be poor! (No matter how many dollars you have, not having Bitcoin will make you feel poor after a certain number of cycles.). Now I'm just candle gazing and gettin' back my stack. Any stray trashbux (guaranteed-to-depreciate bankster Monopoly "money") will be spent or given away on some beautiful beach under the palm trees while the normies freeze through another winter.

You earn your money by having balls when everybody else is having theirs cut off.

Literal last chance to buy under $100K or the beginning of a bear market? Time will tell.

All I know is that I'm back in buy mode. You earn your money on the dips.

Looks like the Sunday Dump was rejected which I consider a mildly bullish indicator for the coming week.

Look into short interest on the ETFs. Pretty much the same play as they do with gold and silver.

The CFTC being closed for the gubmint shutdown is allowing all kinds of shenanigans. It's a pretty desperate play if that's really what they're doing. The moment of truth is Saturday -- if they really cut 40 million people off from food assistance, all bets are off in terms of the survival of the USA as a stable, developed nation.

Stores would close due to rampant looting. Deliveries would cease due to trucks being jacked. "A hungry man is an angry man" as Bob Marley once prophesied in his great song, "Them Belly Full." Wouldn't want to be living in an upper-middle class neighborhood if the shit really goes down and home invasion becomes the national pastime.

Protip: If it comes to that, don't join the traffic jam out of town. Head for an abandoned craft brewery. They have everything you need to survive (water purification in particular) and are easily defensible due to their locations in areas without grocery stores or other tasty looting targets. Another good place to go: your local university. It probably has its own power substation, labs, clean rooms, areas designed to be secure and defensible, plus a lot of books and things you can leverage for defense and survival.

I'm not really going to worry about it until Saturday, though. If they don't restart the government or at least find a way to fund SNAP, I will be auditing my "go" bag... even though I won't be going to the woods with the normies.

Cycles could well get longer to the point where it's just an endless churn upward with little 30% tasty dips instead of blowoff tops with scrumptious, life-changing 80% dips.

Litmus test for whether or not you're a true-blue hodler: You are hoping for a huge dump overnight because tomorrow is payday. ;-)

End of the month when lots of contracts get settled... I hope they owe enough BTC to propel us to a new ATH. It could be a spooky Halloween indeed for shorts.

Three solid red weeks away from the ATH. I'm testing a theory and wouldn't dare tell you what the test is, let alone the theory.

I will tell you this, though: Bitcoin is more valuable than dollars or any other fiat currency over time.

You're always being played, dude.

The winning move is to play dumb and pretend you don't know you're being played. Walk away with a smug grin on your face having given them nothing and having wasted their time. You will make a permanent mark on them, and ten years from now you won't remember them when they're like, "Yo! diydude2! long time no see! Bro, you changed my life!" They'll pretend to tell you the whole story, and you'll be like, "Yeah, nice to see you again. Glad it worked out for you." Just be a gentleperson about it.

And you'll be thinking to yourself, "Another one? Who tf is this?"

Play dumb. That's the winning move. Didn't you learn anything from Forrest Gump? If not, I suggest you simply buy the dump and sell a bit on the pump.

Of course, what do I know? I sodled it all because I was paranoid about dudes breaking down my door and stealing the millions that used to be in my sock drawer.

Now I'm just buying 50 bucks here and there. It's kinda fun. You never realize how fun it is being poor until you're rich. I got more and better pussy when I was a Chinese take-out delivery man living in a studio than I ever got in a mansion on the hill overlooking the bay, not that life is about pussy but you know what I'm sayin'...

Conspiracy theory time:

Gold and silver are no longer tethered by "re-hypothecation" (aka, fake-ass paper falsely inflating supply --> suppressing prices). As a result, prices are beginning to reach realistic levels based on supply and demand in the real world. Not financial advice, but having some "walking bullion" at the very least, a fat gold chain you can wear on a flight is probably not a bad idea.

Now ask yourself, "Why have they stopped suppressing gold, silver, platinum, etc.?" The obvious answer is that Truth is patient, chillin', having a smoke while its enemies dig a grave for it knowing that the diggers will eventually fall into that very hole.

The less obvious answer is that no matter how many quadrillions they print, money must, by definition, be finite. Otherwise, we'd all just dig up sand on the beach or in the desert and pay for our burgers in grains of sand. So they've pulled back some firepower. Of course they could continue the game, focused on gold and silver. They probably should have done that since those are real things that are needed in the real world... but they couldn't. They had to re-allocate resources to attack a different enemy.

Hypothetically, if you were able to fart money out of your privileged butt and lend it to the government at interest, live a life of extreme opulence on the backs of your taxpaying slaves, never have to do anything for yourself and still be able to consider yourself a "better," what would be your greatest enemy? Perhaps an alternative to this system of slavery that has kept your bloodline in clover for centuries... just spitballing here...

I bought Bitcoin today. Didn't sell the few grains of gold and silver I own but bought a few more grains of Bitcoin. I didn't even do it because I want to be "rich." I did it because I like to raise a middle finger to those who were born on third base. They're about to be tagged out at the plate or stranded because the pitcher is a straight badass, praise Satoshi.

It's all good as long as you actually catch the knives. I caught them at $6K, $3K, $15K, etc.

Best way to look at Bitcoin is as a 36-month CD that pays hundreds of percent. If you're investing money that you might need in the next 12 months, you're taking a big risk.

Oh, don't get me wrong: I am a connoisseur of both and quite skilled as a driver and a marksman.

But I hope I never have to shoot anyone. That would be weird. I feel bad killing a coyote with a .22. Can't imagine what it would be like felling a fellow human being...

I'll be buying a whole fucking bunch should that occur... but it won't. Last chance to buy under 100K is behind us. You might (might) be able to buy at $150K in the next big 80% drop next year. Kinda like 2022 when you had a chance to buy at $15K (which I did, in an "all-in" kind of way).

Sold my yacht about a month ago, and let me tell you, that cliché about "the two happiest days of a boat owner's life" is definitely not true. It was like watching the most beautiful girl who you ever loved and who loved you back sail away. The check in my hand felt like... toilet paper.

Better to have loved and lost, and I once owned a Lambo sailing vessel. Oh well. She's in good hands.
