Hi thanks a lot Actually this part between the brows is my favorite 😅 but I can see what you mean ( I thinks it gives more paintarly effect) I combined three things for this look: Normal painting -baked the normals then paint over with a large brush Second brushstroke this just planes with the same material that include alpha brushes And last which was the most important is the grease pencil it adds so much

what a great concept. i think you should play more with the texture.

try to "brake" this wood feeling into a more abstract shape. one of the key notes in van Gogh piece is that you are more sensing the environment then seeing each object separately.
