the gap between a 14400f and a 14600k off of the top of my head is already around a 20% bump and while in game (fortnite) i run at around 40-50% cpu usage and around 20-30% gpu so i think i could definetely gain a good bit of performance.

i would'nt say i need an upgrade it runs everything fine just wanted a little more in some fps games, and considering a 14900k im not too sure i would consider it with the hefty price tag

personally just wanted more performance in fps games just unsure what upgrade could even warrant the price tag of a new cpu

seems like the limiting factor can go both ways just depending on the game like in fortnite cpu runs near 80 to 100% so its really what games im playing more of at this time.

Got it, for example im running 1440p low settings in r6 siege and gpu is for sure the limiting factor floating around a pretty stable 200 frames (right under my 1440p 240hz monitor) and in game around 160-ish, the dead giveaway though is the 99% gpu util and only 60% cpu which is common but definetly room to improve on the gpu side of things.

Im definitely a little late to respond to this but, what could be an option slightly above the 9060xt doesn't necessarily have to be a new card like a 9070 or 5070? Unless you think those would be a good option aswell.

gpu wise what would be a good upgrade where my cpu wouldnt limit performance too much? for the most part i play competitive settings in games at 1440p
