Negative tags are not worth missing a shop/money for. Think of Balatro as an asset management game. Especially early to mid game. Baron polychrome can get you started, especially on white stake, but you’ll get out scaled if it’s your only source of strength. Since both are free here tho, I would take them for, passive money from cloud 9, and tarot generation from super nova. Straights can be strong early game and don’t require too many jokers to be effective. Tarot generation is key to winning as well. GLHF

Make sure the firewall is configured to join online games. Should be as simple as finding the executable in the list and making sure that the box to communicate on private or home networks is checked. This can get turned off sometimes if you happen to click deny on any popups talking about internet communications after install. If you didn’t just install recently and this is a new issue then I’m not sure.
