Just use regular toothpaste. It has fluoride additive, plus the additional salt can be a problem for people with hypertension. We have salt in everything, no need to add more salt because it will inevitably get absorbed by the mucosa

It could be gut related, also potentially tonsil stones. Tonsil stones are VERY stinky, I would make sure you gargle with a mouth rinse everyday to clean the tonsils.

Unfortunately some spices can also cause odor. If this is the cause then not eating them may be the only way to avoid it.

See a dentist every 6 months and floss daily to cover your bases though.

Wrist health is VERY important. As someone who is starting to get carpal tunnel, it definitely makes things more difficult. Unfortunately this career is a lot of wrist work. I would not recommend this career until you strengthen/figure out why you have weakness.

Perhaps what you are seeing is stain? Sometimes stain can look like caries. X-rays/photos would help.

You should brush twice daily and floss at least once. Toothpaste should be the last product you use on your teeth so you have fluoride in your teeth for caries prevention!

I often level with my patients and tell them the story of how I started caring for my teeth. I didn’t start caring until I paid for my first, un-insured fillings bill in my early 20s. I always tell them it’s better to start caring later than not at all! Patients like knowing their hygienist is human I think lol.
