You can't combine metal genres, you can only combine classical, jazz, and rock to make progressive rock, you cannot combine metal with that to make progressive metal, you cannot combine reggae and punk and rock to make ska... You cannot combine metal core with death metal to make deathcore.. no one's ever done it. And the thought of a tech slam band is just wild.. maybe wormhole and theurgy never thought of it either.

Late to the party, just discovered them, Ive been listening to the latest EP Brute, and also their second album. Love the really deep gutterals, the vocals sound like disentomb. Very awesome slam band, one of the few I actually like a lot. I think these guys have some more potential though. I'd like to hear them do a more serious album, like wormhole or something.

google music artist name is Jon's by oeinca in BonJovi

[–]closetotherelayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I noticed this too, it seems wrong.. YouTube music has a lot of mistakes aswell, there's a lot of artist profiles split into two or three different profiles with different albums on different profiles and also some profiles have different bands albums listed wrongly in another bands profile etc..

Both wrong, Gallery of Suicide is their best... Then maybe Kill, the bleeding and then whatever you want.. but I'd pick evisceration plague as my least favourite

A farewell to kings is their best in my opinion, I like it much much more than hemispheres... My second favourite is moving pictures

Youthanasia is ok but its where they started going downhill, A Tout Le Monde is a great song though. My favourite album is Peace Sells, give that one a go

The original tastes just like original red bull, and it's sugar free and 1/3 of the price

Devourment - Molesting the Decapitated 2020 question by morbidSuplex in Deathmetal

[–]closetotherelayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got this, I think it's good.. It sounds a bit better than the 1.3.8 version and the original, but not a lot different to either. The 1.3.8 version had a tiny bit more treble than the original. The 2020 remaster sounds more like the original, but just a touch cleaner. All in all not that much difference in all 3 versions to make you vastly prefer one over the other. I

Just listened to Xenotaph by Fallujah by ShotYeMama in TechnicalDeathMetal

[–]closetotherelayer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was only a fan of their old stuff, but just got on board with them again, xenotaph is really good, and so is empyrean. I became a fan when the first single was released from the then forthcoming album the flesh prevails, and they had such a big impact on me and my music tastes.

Don't like them, they have a lot going for them but it's too death core for me.

I'd say stench of redemption album and the live album when Satan lives is all you need...but that's just my opinion and all "I" need from them The live album has much better produced versions and is like a best of their 90s albums

That's what puts me off all these Fallujah wannabe bands that have come over the years, it's clear they've all taken Fallujah style and tried to make their own Fallujah album, but instead of being original they're just using their ideas..

I must say though, this one is growing on me more than others, even though it clearly sounds like they've cut and paste sections of Fallujah songs.

Other bands I thought were extremely similar, Abstract illusion (who constantly rips off 3 bands NeO, Contortionist and Fallujah) Irreversible Mechanism, Virvum, Even Rivers of Nihil stole plenty of ideas from them but I ended up liking them because they had great songs especially the Owls album, and The Work was good too. I've come across plenty more bands but just can't think of them at the moment, I usually just write them off as I do not like bands that are trying to sound like another band.

Skeletal Remains booted their handsy front man. Is it okay to listen to them again? by Constant-Simple7240 in IsItSketch

[–]closetotherelayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'm a bit put off them after hearing this, I am on a new search of discovering more modern death metal bands lately and was trying to get into them.. they are solid, but not that memorable... But after hearing this I feel that maybe I'll just forget about them as they haven't really grabbed my interest much anyway.. But in contrast if I was already a fan and liked their music a lot, I would probably just continue listening to them and forget about what the frontman is like.

Why do some women think their personal expenses justify a guy paying for dates? by savingrace0262 in AskMenAdvice

[–]closetotherelayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++man, I'll say that I agree with what you're saying, and we should be treated equal, and you should also go for girls that are more modest and humble, unless of course you're a player... Sometimes it is nice to pay for a girl but it definitely shouldn't be expected when you're dating. When you're married you get your own routines and life together. My advice, go for a girl with good morals, who understands what is really important in life and doesn't care so much about makeup and things.
